I think Reiko will be the Big Bad. I remember early on in an interview Ed Boon said that the boss character will be a little bit of fun. We can already see in the comics that Reiko is closely aligned with Mileena, and that he is pretty much a genius general. BUT how would Reiko as boss be fun? Well think back to the MK 4 ending - Reiko goes through a portal and sits on Shao Khans throne with his helmet descending onto Reiko's head. This would be the perfect tongue-in-cheek throwback to that mysterious ending.

Having Reiko double cross Mileena at the end of the story mode is pretty much a given. And i just don't see Mileena as a strong enough character to be the boss by herself - unless she undergoes some sort of wicked transformation (which i doubt - and would highly hate). I can see Mileena being the sub boss though. She's always been difficult to play higher up on the ladder - and i can imagine her being an absolute bitch to beat.

It depends on what happens to Reiko in the comics, which takes place during the 25 year skip. Until then, it is just speculation.

Random tidbit that I was just thinking about...

When Kung Jin asked Cassie "what made you our leader" it got me thinking to the web series casting descriptions. Johnny Cage has his offshoot Special Forces team. It would make a lot of sense that Johnny's team will have his "Warrior Princess" as the leader. So I think initially, Cassie might've been given the position as leader because of her dad. That plus what Sub-Zero said: "Cassandra, you lead this team, but they do not follow." It makes sense, imo.

I think as far as Cassie goes, the game's story mode will probably show how she develops into an actual leader and proving herself to her team and to the other characters in the story instead of being in her father and mother's shadows. And if this is the case, I'm looking forward to see her growth and progress throughout story.

There is literally nothing I can expect from this game.

People claimed she wasnt in for different reasons. 1. Because she is the only cameo with literally the same outfit she had in the last game. No one ever said just because ed boon said 5 reveals because that would deconfirm either erron or shinnok and they are obviously in. 3. Because sindel is no where near the leak list which only has 1 character left to be 100% accurate. Lol give up the dream Sindel isnt in.
