I'm fine with a Komplete Edition even if I paid for everything. That's the current state of gaming and I don't really care.

But yes, it must be sold separately. People who already bought everything should be able to get everything without buying the Komplete Edition.

They honestly should just make KP2 a MKXL Expansion pack. That way people who haven't bought the game can buy MKXL for $60 and get everything, but those of us who already have purchased and supported MKX and it's DLC can still get all the extras for a somewhat fair price. SSF4AE allowed owners to do this with USSF4. You could just pay a fee and it pretty much upgraded it to the current version.

I've avoided everything about the game for over a year (I still don't even know the full roster), so I'm super-duper excited.

It doesn't change a thing.
If you have the basic game just download all the packs of the DLC.
Otherwise, buy the XL edition.

As for now there is no exclusive, if not for the lame Gold Scorpion skin.

I'm wondeing if this Komplete Edition will also include the mobile skins, like klassic Kitana and Mileena. I know the Injustice Ultimate Edition did not include mobile skins, so who knows. It would also be cool if the fifth faction kills were also unlocked right away. :)

They'll probably give it out for free at some point, like all the other extra skins.

I told you they'll release all the dlc at once. It's strange why would release MK XL before the netcode is fixed tho. Or this is fixable via the patch ? Also do you think The Pit will have several variations of fatalities ?

It comes out the 1st March. Early reports of the netcode, even in beta form, is that it is significant improvement over the original netcode

This has gotten me thinking though.... Will the new improved netcode only be available with the XL edition? Boon did go out of his way on Twitter to state that XL includes The Pit and the new netcode..... I swear if they fuck us all over.....

That is disgusting if it were true. They said it was a MKX beta and way to screw over the people that still have the game. The netcode should be able to patch in with MKX no problem in my opinion.

-PIT looks amazing, good to know we finally have a stage fatality
-Bo Rai Cho looks awesome
-More Triborg, Alien, Bo, Leatherface gameplay
-Leatherface looks like he has a different type of shirt he wears and the face skin looks different


The bad:

-Why, oh why give Cassie and Jacqui ninja costumes? Smh..

Looks like that puts an end to the thought of continued support throughout the years.

Pity, it would've been nice to see Capcom and NRS continually vie for dollars and praise with new updates to their base games over the next few years.
