looks like all u fuckers that said they'd never make a trilogy type game again were wrong
Hey that info about 3 new elements.. I hope they aren't retarded elements.

I hope that the movelist can accompany this huge "larger than Trilogy" roster.

I also hope this "larger than Trilogy" roster isn't a steaming pile of horse manure. If it's in fact next gen, the data capacity on the new systems should be more than enough. smile

I know they're supposed to have a huge selection. It better be more than Trilogy because they had 40 I think... hopefully they won't put quantity over quality..
AMEN!

Interesting. I wonder if they include Trilogy.
I personally think they mean there will be more characters than in any of the Mainstream games. (MK1, MK2, MK3, MK4, MK:DA and MK:D). I count UMK3/MKT/MK:Gold/MK:TE as add-ons.

But if you think about it, there's always more characters in each sequel.

MK1 had 7 (11 if you count bosses/secrets and Ermac).
MK2 had 12 (17 if you count bosses/secrets)
MK3 had 14 (18 if you count bosses/secrets)
MK4 had 15 (19 if you count bosses/secrets)
MK5 had 21(24 if you count bosses/secrets)
MK6 had 24 (26 if you count Noob-Smoke seperately and Onaga)

It would be really great though if they had more than Trilogy. It had 40 in total counting Khameleon/Chameleon and the classics.
I guess this means we can expect just about every major MK character to be in the game in addition to some new ones...?

Like I stated in the other thread I'm not to pleased by this announcement because It leads me to believe that they are not going to bother overhauling MK's weak fighting engine. Instead they are going to cram the next MK game full of useless characters. Personally, I'd rather have 15-20 characters and a reworked fighting engine, but hey who cares a good fighting engine when you have 40 selectable characters whoo!
