Okay, she hasn't been involved within the last few MK games, but does that mean she won't come back? I enjoyed playing as her in MK Deception and Armageddon. She was another one of those neutral characters. I guess there are no signs of her being in MKX. :(

i think for her to be in the game, she needs her story to make sense, to truly do her justice

I always likes the idea of the character, but the design never won me over. I thought her whole look was very uninspired and unoriginal. Lost potential.

Wasn't she deconfirmed via Boon's Twitter? Exact same manner Hsu Hao was first drowned in the character deadpool.

It's a shame though. I love Nitara.

At least there's Vampiress Mileena! ;D

Ed Boon completely deconfirmed her so she will not be in not even DLC which hurts but we all will get over it.

After what they managed to do with Hawkgirl in Injustice, I would have loved to see Nitara get a new coat of fresh blood. As I've noted before, she has as much story potential here as D'vorah. Maybe if she waited a few years for her first appearance and hit the wave of the vampire craze she would've been more popular. Sparkles might have helped her chances too.

I did like nitara, particularly in her alt
But she would have a very similar role in mkx as d'vorah I'd imagine, and she's the less original of the two
I liked how they introduced vampires into the lore-allergic to earthrealms sun and I also liked her weapons, but I suspect we won't see her again until we get another greatest hits game

I think that the problem with Nitara is that she has, literally, nothing to do. In DA, she just kind of showed up, did her thing, and then went away. She interacted with ONE other character, and seemingly had no enemies. It wasn't until Armageddon brought us the Ashrah/Nitara rivalry that she became relevant, and Ashrah herself isn't really that relevant either.

I was hoping that she would show up on Team Kotal, since he's uniting Outworld's forgotten races and all. Maybe she'll show up as possible DLC in the future?

Her alternate was inspired by Gene Simmons from KISS, boots and all. One of the best costumes in the entire series for sure.

Right on point, it was. It hurts a bit talking about these deconfirmed characters though. sad Another 4 years to wait! And considering the current status of the 3D characters, only if we're lucky then.
