Yeah, I noticed the fatality a little different. In the first video that was released, even though it was grainy and low quality, when the character falls to the ground, you could see puddle of blood coming out. It also appeared to be a little gush of blood that was coming out.

in this version, they don't show the blood coming out...so i guess it was toned down in that way

It seems that way, but actually isn't. If you notice, they are fighting on some water puddles. You could see at the end of the fatality where it shows Subzero's fingers are halfway into the water, so really the blood coming out from the head is flowing in the water too.

Just watched it. Tbh Cassie actually does have some moves directly taken from Cage in his variation. Her shadow kick and back flip are practically the same :S Same animation, same kinds of hits. I take everything I said back. I really don't want Cage and Sonya in the game now.

Only if they 100% scrap her current head, and start anew. Cassie standing next to D'Vorah was jarring as Cassie looks like a Dreamcast fighter, while D'Vorah is beautifully modeled. Her hairstyle makes zero sense, and looks terrible. She seems to be stealing the bad hair crown from Kitana...

How in the fuck do hairstyles need to make sense? In the end, how Cassie looks will probably not fucking matter because people like you end up dropping the game a month after release anyway.

True story: people usually "drop" games because they do not like one fighter. If other people like her laughably lame head, cool. There are plenty of other fighters to choose from. I found Jax to be an offensive cliche/stereotype in MK5, but I played it for many months; I just did not pick him. How a fighting game character looks/acts has always been rather important. Would people be as eager to play Kano if he had pigtails, or if Jade a hairy upper lip? Appearances matter, and despite their most recent update, Cassie still looks bad compared to all other revealed fighters.

Oh I am fine with Cassie having some of her parents' moves. I just thought that she didn't at all or the ones she did, functioned different. But it seems they don't. That's fine by me. My point was, before the video I wouldn't mind if her parents made it in the game since their specials are a lot different. After the video, where I saw Cassie perform Johnny's exact same specials I really don't think he should make it in the game anymore. Jumping in the boat with the people that thought 3 characters with similar movesets are taking way too many spots in the roster tbh.

I still very much want Cage.

I need to see more of Cassie to determine if those moves were indeed special moves. If they are normals I see no problem at all. But Johnny could always play different if they are special moves Cassie does. They could give Johnny an entirely new moveset.

That's understandable and I really wanted them to follow Johnny's Seidan new "controled" powers and his new look. However even if they add him, he NEEDS to have his shadow powers. There's no Johnny without shadow kicks. And since Cassie has them now, I think the best way to go is to not include him in this game.

Main Menu theme? Character Select? It's recorded from the stream. I like the dark theme which goes very well with the game and the composition is great, but not sure if I agree with the orchestral music

Main Menu theme? Really good.

Character Select? It would be the weakest MK character select theme by far, vsDC excluded.

As a whole I like the track. But my favorite part has to be from 2:25 and on.

I agree, I'd really hope they stay away from the epic-orchesta type of music they had in MK9 and go back to their roots in this game.

Even if it were the character select music (which would be ill fitting given it's presentation), it would still be better than MK9's.

Can we not have a happy medium? Blend the electronic/Asian with the orchestral shit. It works for The Kove (what I've heard of the music).
