I'm glad they touched on Sub-Zero's Unbreakable Variation. It was cool to see the Ice Armor and Ice Parry,

Scorpion's Ninjitsu Variation looks sick. I love how it changes some of his normals. And dat sweep!

Also, I really like how they talked about meter burning throws. I think it really adds to the meta game.

Jesus Christ, they take time out their busy schedule to at least show us more gameplay and all you people want to do is bitch. I don't want story spoilers, I can wait on reveals because I actually would like to be surprised when I play it. You guys just got a hell of a lot more then Bethesda or Rockstar would have given you. I was just happy to see more gameplay, and from what I've seen so far I'm happy as hell. This is embarrassing as fuck.

Neat detail: They updated D'Vorah's model so that during Ferra/Torr's X-ray Her creepy bug eyes are visible.

As for the stream I was happy with it. I didn't expect a character reveal but the in-depth on Kotal Kahn's totems was really appreciated.

Also I can throw the match with his blood sacrifice Yoshimitsu-style so that's great.

Well...that was GAY. Yet more boring videos of the same old. Aside from Raiden, I am alread sick of these characters. Waited all this long thinking we will finally see a Kenshi reveal (the hints were becoming obvious), only to have my high hopes shit on.

My money is still on Kenshi being the next reveal; whenever that will be.

They prefaced on Twitter they weren't revealing a character.

It's actually quite a valid complaint. They even said at the beginning of the stream that they'd let us hear the intro's yet they kept yapping through them. And not just that, but half of what they were actually saying (including the tacky puns) was cringe worthy. Breaking down and explaining move sets, variations, fine. But you don't have to keep talking until you're out of breath to the point of rambling.

Also, intro's don't give story spoilers. They hint at character relations, interactions, things that a lot of folks here are interested in. Is it too much to ask that for 5-6 seconds out of every 5-10 minute match they shut the hell up? No, not really.

I find it hilarious that people actually thought we were getting a reveal today. NRS clearly stated several days ago we were not getting a new character.

I for one enjoyed the stream because we got to see a more depth to some of the lesser known variations.

Maybe if they were just shooting the shit while the intro was taking place but they're talking about variation gameplay for every character they picked so fuck the dialogue for now.

Is it just me, or is Kotal's totems going to make him be overpowered? I may not have been paying attention during that because I was playing Advance Warfare during the stream.

If you could have all 3 out at once, yeah. But since they limit the totems to one, it shouldn't be ridiculous. Plus the damage stacking will be balanced for sure by the time the game comes out.

They should change his name to Ed Moon because that's what he was basically doing to those who wanted to hear the dialogue. They really like the sound of their own voice. Other than that, I enjoyed the stream.

Watching the archive now and it's really cool to get a breakdown on some of the more complex character variations. Ninjitsu Scorpion looked siiiiiick. Can't wait for this game! Also corner escape interactables use Stamina meter regardless but can be EX metered to add armor or make the startup quicker. Explanation from Tyler around 40:00 mins mark. SPECULATION EDIT: On Ferra/Tor: So many people consider Tor, the burly sack headed behemoth as a LACKEY to the tiny Ferra. However, there's two things that happened during the stream that got me thinking that maybe it's the other way around. - Round win poses for Tor shows him grabbing Ferra's hand and leading her very assertively almost like a parent would a child. He's essentially exerting authority over HER. - Towards the end of the stream in the solo Tor vs D'Vorah match, one of the Dev's jokingly mentions how Ferra has "found a new master" since she seems to be shadowing D'Vorah. Then they all 3 go silent. It's enough to make me think that maybe the silent brute might not be the mindless goon that everyone is expecting. What do you guys think?

Just watched it. Tbh Cassie actually does have some moves directly taken from Cage in his variation. Her shadow kick and back flip are practically the same :S Same animation, same kinds of hits. I take everything I said back. I really don't want Cage and Sonya in the game now.
