There's tons and tons of sane-minded individuals who call this place home. Unfortunately, they tend to go dark for long periods of time. lol

The only thing seriously wrong with this game is the online. The netcode is atrocious and the matchmaking is a joke. When is NRS going to wake the fuck up and realize that someone with a record of 14/46 shouldn't be fighting a guy who is 1469/20? At least in Ranked I mean.

Lol true. You think would try to match people up with similar ratios, or maybe people who are relatively close to each other on the leaderboard.

I think there's more than the win/loss ratio at play when the system picks an opponent. Match length, combo expertise, etc.

Totally agreed. Currently I am not able to play online at all because the game never gets pass the "looking for opponent" screen, no matter how many times I restart or retry it. It will literally sit at that screen for as long as I leave it, in any game mode. I think if I uninstall and reinstall the game (and lose all my saved data) it MIGHT work again as I remember having a similar problem with Injustice and MK9. But at this point I'm like why? I only ever have these weird issues with NRS games and even if reinstalling does fix the problem best case scenario I get to enjoy the horrible netcode again. I agree with OP that the best saving grace of this game is the gameplay, but whats the point of practicing and practicing and mastering a character only to go online where everything you learned just goes right the fuck out the window. Sub Zero can do a hella punishable slide and then punish your punish attempt with guess what?! EN SLIDE. Its such a frustrating experience I was always reluctant to play online in the first place and now I don't even know if I'll try and fix the damn game. Fuck the KP2.

NRS needs to get their shit together in terms of online experience. For whatever their next project is if the FIRST thing outta their mouths isn't about a new and much improved online than I will for sure not buy it.

MK fans/users here are so funny. Now the only flaw MKx has is the NET-code. But every other aspect of MKx is an improvement right? Like for example,

* Story mode
* Endings
* Roster
* Stages
* Reboot
* Character loyalty
* Music

Just a few examples of what 90% dislikes about MKx. Also on MKO, but suddenly it's just the NET-code... It's almost hypocritical.

Funny thing is, that's my exact attitude, for which I was recently raged at XD

When were young we told ourselves we'd never be out of touch like our parents and we'd be cool and knowledgable about what is hip forever.

Now I'm 28 and this is how I feel :

Mk X is a huge improvement over the previous installement.

No offense, but people like you deserve another mk: special forces or Armageddon.

Trust me, its been everything since I bought the damn game.

I don't think that many here are saying some of those aren't issues... We're just pointing out that in a fighting game with shitty netcode, that's the most important aspect that needs to be corrected. It's like playing Call Of Duty and the guns never fire right or the serves don't function properly leaving you with incredibly horrible online experiences. It doesn't matter how many incredible guns, perks, killstreaks, gimmicks or maps the game has if the online is laggy and creates terrible experiences for you. After all, the majority play COD for the online component as I don't see many buying it solely for the 8-ish hour campaign. Same goes to the majority who buy MKX; to fight their friends and others online, thus the louder and often heard complaining on that particular subject.

However, as far as MKX as a whole goes, I wasn't aware that there was a massive outcry of people unhappy with endings of all things and the fact it's still a rebooted universe. After all, after Armageddon they sort've continuously dug themselves into a corner until there was no more room to dig. They sort've had no choice BUT to reboot at that point considering they killed all of their characters. So it was either reboot with entirely new characters all from scratch or reboot the known quantity thus what we got. The bland-ass roster, the lack of arenas, the disjointed Story Mode and the oddly unimaginative and lackluster when compared to the past stage music all have credibility as complaints though but they aren't the biggest pressing issues at hand.

First it's too many ninjas, now apparently there's not enough ninjas.

Complaints are all over the place with MK.

MK team wanted to clean the slate, and bring in new characters since Deadly Alliance.
We all complain our favs are missing. While some hate the newcomers. Then other folks complain the newcomers went missing.

2 or 3 is too many Special Forces to some. Not to mention half the characters they mean are civilians...

The kids suck, bring on the fighting grandpas!

Characters should stay dead, but where's my fucking favorites? Bring them back to life!!
