Looking back, it's easy to read Ed as trying to temper down expectations for MK4-D fans when he said "at least one" MK4 character, ... then a few weeks later we get Quan Chi's reveal.
I just have this sinking feeling that Quan Chi (and maybe Shinnok) is all that was initially planned from that era. I'll be pissed and minorly gutted if that's the case
That said, we've been teased with lots of DLC this time around, so there's still time for NRS to make some roster changes if that's the case. And while there's still time, I'll continue to trumpet my favourites like Tanya, Havik and Fujin!! They were the standouts of that era and have the most fan backing to deserve the full royal 2D update like the entire roster of MKT characters had in MK9.

No way. That would be a huge trollage from Ed Boon.
Quan Chi was already in MK VS DC, MK9, MK Sub-Zero Mythologies, etc.....
He DOESN'T count......
Shinnok counts as an MK4 karakter. NOT Quan Chi.
Quan Chi is like a Scorpion or Sub-Zero, now....

So, in light of all of this, Kitana is "practically konfirmed"?
No, my dear, it's called WISHFUL THINKING and is far from being confirmation. I'm not saying that Tanya is not in the new game or that she should not be in it, but what you're offering here is pure speculation.

While I don't believe any of your reasons are indicative of Tanya's inclusion in MKX (although, I really don't think you're being serious with this thread), I certainly admire your dedication and enthusiasm for this one character in particular.

How dare you! Look at the other replies, the Mortal Kombat team will organize a huge party to announce Tanya as the ultimate final boss in MKX, the biggest boss since Goro, Motaro, Shao Khan, etc.
But really, regardless of it all I already know MKX will be the best MK game to date.
I would only be mad for 2 seconds. It's all good.
