I was one of the ones who was *for* more realistic female body/costume portrayal in MK and guess what? We got it. Stop being unreasonable.

R.Mika's design fits her perfectly though, and that's the problem with some of the MK9 designs, they were made like that to show the girls' T&A, but didn't fit the girls' personalities and jobs. Nobody asked for Mileena to dress like a nun, but they went ahead and toned all the girls down anyway. Like how Sonya is literally dressed from her neck all the way down, and even covers her head with a hat, although showing off her midriff was always her trademark and doesn't really make her a "slut".

Of course the SFV females look "sluttier" since they didn't go overboard with the SJW like deigns like MK did, and are only censoring sugestive animations the girls do, but without changing their well fitting designs.

Yeah, a lot of fans weren't happy with the designs for the females in MK9. But instead of researching were the "bug" was, they just read it as it is and well...now even the purposely slutty one is almost "decent". (hey Mileena!)

Take Sonya for example. The problem her fans had with her design was the lack of an undervest and the high heel boots, because that was out of character.

I can at least speak for Sonya. If you still believe the character ages noted in the old bios, then you know Sonya's like 50 years old in the MKX timeline. Boon or somebody did say Kano's about 60 in the MKX plot, so Sonya can't be that far behind.

Point is, while the years have been very kind to her, General Blade's getting old. She was already a stuffy, conservative broad to begin with, relatively speaking. It's completely in character for her to show less skin at this point in the games.

I agree with you. This is one of the many reasons , I've lost faith with the MK team. They DON'T even know their own series.

But seriously, I can't speak for others but my post was actually about her Tournament outfit from MKX. Just a matter of consistency. I really think that once you establish something about a character and that character becomes iconic,don't mess with it. It looses credibility. Like even her eyes, that were always blue, are now green.
