What if MKXs Liu Kang is really Hornbuckle?

Think about it. Liu Kang was killed off in MK9 yet in MKX he starts off as a normal uncorrupted fighter on the roster. We also know that based on the MK2 sprites Liu and Hornbuckle look very similar. In the Shaolin trailer we see Liu as a revenant type being but at the end of the trailer he looks even darker with glowing green veins and eyes. Is this a nod to Hornbuckle? Did he finally shed his deception here to reveal that he is not Liu Kang afterall? Maybe this is the returning big bad pulling strings behind the scenes. I mean they did it with Torch and Blaze so I wouldn't be surprised here either.

I prefer Liu Kang.

Tremor got the gold this game anyway.

Tasia, Jataaka, Hornbuckle, Zebron, and other characters of the like will have to wait.

I wouldn't mind seeing hornbuckle fleshed out. Just not in MKX. Let tremor have the spotlight this time. Maybe in the next game or 2. I like the idea of obscure characters making an appearance somewhere down the road.

What if its actually Blaze? We see Liu enveloped in flames in his walk in intros, and we know blaze was originally a swap of Liu with fire all over him, so this Liu Kang is obviously Blaze ;)

Mokap is the mastermind behind ALL the characters not just Quan Chi, I thought we all already knew that Mokap is the supreme ruler of all minds. :O

Blanche is a returning character, she was in Shao Kahn colosseum cheering in the background and 25 years later she grew into an old lady but she still had the power inside her and she will RULE US ALL!
