That said, I would like to know whether or not I even want the pack to begin with. And that largely depends on who's in there. If it's Baraka, Rain, and Sindel I'll pass. But if it's something like Fujin, Li Mei, Sareena, and Cyrax well then that's awesome.

Problem is I have no idea how long I have to wait until I find out if I even want the damn pack.

Will they make an extra edition to story mode? New characters, new chapters?

Anyway, I think the KP2 announcement of an announcement, from the Kombat Kast announcement was dumb, and I'm indifferent to the whole thing. I think if KP2 is coming out "eventually" in 2016, it doesn't even make sense to do anything other than wait for the Komplete Edition.

No shit. I don't get why people are still complaining about their marketing though. You've bought the game because something about the series is to your liking. You'll continue to throw your money at them. I am confident that at least 85% of the people complaining in this very thread will go out and buy the DLC no matter who they are.

You've made a lot of good points on this site but no offense, this is the most ridiculous thing I've seen you post. Why complain? Why call them out on it if we're still gonna buy it? I'm still gonna buy it cause I'm a fanboy, that's what I do. I buy Mortal Kombat shit. But with that said, if they do something I don't like, why not call them out on it? Why not express my opinion that I think Boon's stupidly silly PR tactics are just that; stupidly silly. Why post a picture with a tagline reading "Tomorrow?" that leads people to assume we're going to get some sort of reveal considering that is what he has done on Twitter for every reveal in the past yet the very next day we get the exact same thing, only confirming what we already knew because Boon posted it 12 hours before hand? Everyone and their brother knew that that picture meant KP2 was coming, we didn't need two paragraphs confirming that. It makes no logical sense why they handled that the way they did in the first place. It's like him confirming The Pit by posting the screen grab from MK9, yet the official press release is still acting like it's a secret by referring to it as just an "additional arena" like we're all gonna be super shocked and surprised by it or something when we finally see it. It's ridiculous.

Unlike a lot of companies, the good folks at NRS chat with us and generally, for the most part, listen to what we have to say about a lot of things so if we disagree with the way they went about things, why not call them out? Or are we supposed to just sit back and be okay with whatever they throw at us? There are a number of things that have happened in this franchise purely due to fans being vocal so asking why we wouldn't vocally express our disappointment is silly. Clearly they listen. Now with that said, there's a right way to do it and a wrong way. In the most part are people being childish about it? Yeah, absolutely. Trolling Boon on Twitter and calling him names and shit is just stupid and immature. I'm not asking for all the characters to be revealed now. I'm not asking to know everything in the pack. I don't care because I know I'm gonna buy it regardless. What I'm angry and disappointed with is the fact he rubbed it in everyone's faces despite it being anywhere from 4-6 months away when they could've easily waited to reveal it. There was absolutely no need because let's face it, everyone knew deep down more DLC was coming. If they didn't, they weren't fully using their head or thinking logically. Yes, it was the best selling game of the year so far despite how shitty they handled reveals, imo. Whether it was just The Pit, whether it was two more characters like Injustice with The Pit tacked on, or a KP2, everybody and their brother knew we were getting something so a confirmation at this point and time wasn't necessary.

I support Mortal Kombat. I'm not gonna say I support NRS cause I've never bought nor touched Injustice because, despite me liking DC characters and being a Batman fanboy as well, using those characters in a fighting game as opposed to the Arkham games and being "immersed" as Batman just is not appealing to me. However, with that said, considering how much money I've shoveled into this franchise, if they do something I don't like or that I think was stupid, I'm gonna call them out on it. Your assumptions are invalid because i still have yet to buy the kombat pack. The game got boring after a month and the fighting system is trash mk9 was so much better. Some people are only interested if their fav is in the pack. I want to know now so if fujin is not in i can sell the game off while its still worth something. He would be the only reason my mkx would no longer collect dust. Everyone isnt still playing this game much better games have relesead and will release soon that this game will be an afterthought.

I wouldnt say 85% if you are referring to the pack itself. I'll say 85% will buy some sort of dlc from the pack. But right you or i don't know someone here could buy the pack and lie and say they didnt for the sake of trolling.

My choices fro left to right:

1. Enemra -- technically Smoke but he is no longer Smoke now is he? In story mode he called himself Enemra. My other choice was Noob Saibot. Clearly it is a male ninja that has those upper arm bands.

2. Frost -- clearly #2 is a female. The slanting shoulder of the female figure give away the gender. In story mode or even the MK universe only Frost has that spikey hair.

3. Baraka -- the top of the head and armor on the shoulders told me this is Baraka. He always had that extra rounded top of the head. He also wore that armor in story mode.

4. (Tough one) I'm ging with Li Mei -- sillhouette is small and shaped correctly for a woman. The hair and short sleeves also says it could be her; she looked like that in story mode. My other choices here are Rain, Shujinko or Bo'Rai Cho

I can gurantee it wont be 2 females in the pack. That's just a no no

I can guarantee this pack will still disappoint everyone.

What if the second silhouette is not a female and is really Nightwolf because he had an alt that looks like the silhouette shape in MK9.

I want Fujin so badly, but if Ashrah was in the pack, the other 3 could be Khrome, Dairou, and Meat for all I care.

I'm not sure why so many people believe Baraka is one of them. I know the first character seems to be bald-headed, but the arm bands are not anything he wore at all in the story and they've mostly recycled costumes at this point (like Tanya without minor tweaks).

The only person who matches those upper arm bands and the gauntlet type is Fujin from story mode, and the "bald" head type is his hair being slicked back. The style in MKX had his ponytail very low so it wouldn't appear from an up-front view. Bo' Rai Cho's is pretty spot-on too. I don't believe any of these characters are Baraka.
