What you're seeing on silhouette #1 is not an armband, it looks like an armband because the it's the piece of rope dangling from where the knot is tied on Baraka's arm.

I'm no good with photoshopping or manipulating images but if you were to black that image of Baraka out I guarantee it will match silhouette #1.

This is true. My very first guess was Baraka. The ears were the dead give away. To the folks saying it's a ninja, none of the ninjas have their ears out because the mask and head piece always cover them.

That, and the blade is retracted in the silhouette just like that picture above. I don't know how some people are missing it. Baraka is pretty much 100% as Bo Rai Cho. The other 2 in the middle are still a mystery.

We're not even sure it's 4 right? If there are more guests, that would be highly disappointing since there's already a waste in Jason. Predator's name and character fit the MK universe to a T and since he's also an alien, Alien would be one of the worst they could squeeze in here. His look alone is off putting.

People saying they still find it hard to find 3 variations for Baraka, use your frigging imagination. If they can make Jason, the most boring and bland character of them all, have 3, they can do it for Baraka. I hope they upgrade him because the ropes and stuff was cool, but still a bit bland. The two teeth out of his cheeks were golden though.

I highly doubt Baraka and Bo Rai Cho will make it though. If I had to guess, without taking the silhouettes into consideration, I'd say it's these 3:

- Guest (sells well)
- Sareena / Sindel (female quota)
- Smoke (requested by fans & not just known among hardcore)
- Fujin (highest request and last snub of MK9)

They will stay close to the story, it wouldn't make sense to all of a sudden have Reiko, Havik or even some boring ones like Daegon to enter the fray. I would personally love Havik, but also Kai. He has a lot of potential as the MK4 spiritual african warrior with the body paint, not the Armageddon one.

These 3 would be my dream and coincidentally all possible looking at the silhouettes and of course appeared in story mode:
- Fujin - most requested and MK9 cut, how he did not make the original game or KP1 is beyond me.
- Baraka - one of the most unique characters ever, could have the craziest variations & is one of the most recognizable of the old MK saga. Also crazy how he did not make the roster!
- Bo Rai Cho - Looked great and would bring some serious comedy, not the over the top characters with bad one liners like Johnny & Cassie.

Yeah, it's been confirmed we're getting 4 characters.

Aright well the 4th one is female or a guest anyway and I don't really care for either one ;)

John Vogel confirmed on twitter we're getting one female. I'd also like to point out to all those cynical people claiming NRS is just going to shoehorn another guest into KP2, that in KP1 they actually announced prior to its release that we would be getting two guest characters and two MK characters. They've made no such announcement this time around.

It has nothing to do with feminists. MK has always had a strong female presence.

I think MKX would benefit greatly from all of the potential female contenders at the moment;

- Li Mei would be a great addition and could work well as re-booting her, giving her a potentially bigger fan-base and giving her an updated set of moves, something some of the 3D era characters are in dire need of.
- Sareena's potential is incredibly high if they incorporate the demon qualities of her character into gameplay.
- Sindel, while I don't particularly like her, has fun gameplay and is in that group of well-known characters. They could utilize some of Ermac's flying gameplay into Sindel's moveset. Imagine those mid-air match-ups.
- Frost, again while I don't particularly like her, would be interesting to see just what they could do to set her apart from Kuai and what new and fresh ice moves they could come up with.

Sareena, Frost, Li Mei.

Those are my female picks, in that order. I can already tell you I'm gonna hate having to face Sindel in this 50/50 mixup craze that is MKX.

I actually like Li Mei, MK could use a true iconic fighter like Chun Li in Street Fighter. Truth is, Sonya was never what Chun Lin was to SF and now less than ever. I just cannot see them putting her in.

Sindel is just bad all around, a sceaming bitch with a horrible appearance. Sareena is a mix of other characters' fighting styles and just screams Tanya pt.2 with turning on people and even look somewhat. Frost is just a female Sub-Zero, just above Sindel but not much.

LOL it's not that serious, female in every pack just for the sake of it...we can all agree female fighters are always less interesting and unique. They shouldn't just have a female fighter just to fill a quota, but because they are better or more unique than other candidates.

That's your opinion. If they don't try and fill everyone's needs people will leave. They can't make the pack all ninja or people who only like the ninjas which are usually the same people will only buy the pack well everyone leaves. I know it's hard for you to understand because u obviously only think about your self. Oh yea also sareena was made quickly. Comparing anything in Armageddon is just silly. She is a demon and they can use that idea to make her special.

They should add MORE females. If you look, only two made into DLC against 6. It's always about male male male (especially white ones), THANK GOD it's changing, and I hope it continues stronger than ever. Diversity is something we need, I see a lot of people getting their voices muted just because they're different, and it bothers me.

Wow just because of my feminist comment you guys turned it into a freaking weird back and forth. This is not some big issue, although it seems to have become one, ratio of male to female fighters has always been big. It's not sexist or whatever, it just represents reality where men are more involved in fighting. I was just saying that a KP should not just have a female for the sake of it. Truth is, game developers are pretty bad at making the females as unique or interesting as the male figures.

This is mostly because apparently people find female characters to be sexy so they dress them like strippers and accentuate the breasts. This is very sad in itself and even guys on here drool over freaking female looks. So while some characters have potential, its from a male perspective and thus results in outfits that would appeal to male buyers / players. The feminist comment was not even that serious, it's just a comparison to the real world where sometimes women get a job or something else to fill a quota, not because she is the best for the job.

As I said before, I would love Li Mei in the game if they make here what Sonya, Cassie or even Jacqui could've been. Sareena as a more demonic appearance would certainly be interesting, but I highly doubt they totally redo her look. Sindel is just a stereotypical high heels freak and we already have enough of those so she should stay out. Frost again is just a female Sub-Zero, not much about her that screams a must have.

For the person who laughs at my claim that Baraka and Fujin are unique, they are. Baraka is just like Mileena a beast and with the added spikes and swords there's so much there for 3 variations, it's not even funny. Fujin is unique because he has power of wind and is a god so they can do a lot with him. His look is kind of bland, but a lot better than the original.

Also my comment regarding females are always less interesting is referring to the fact that developers make it so. I'm not saying there just cannot be interesting female characters in fighting games, it's just that NRS has never put in much serious effort into making great female characters.

Mileena in MKX is the best I think they've done and although still too much of the typical high heels nonsense, it's a lot better than MK2 look. Kitana's story is great, her look does not really correlate with that, though again they've done a nice effort for MKX. Look at Frost, they could've just made a unique female character with another element or substance as her core, but no, they just have to make her a copy of Sub-Zero.

Idk what you are but its nothing wring for that assumptional statement he made because no STRAIGHT male campaigns that hard to be females in a game unless he has some inner troubles or struggles to interact and get females in reality.
