Reminds of when I bought Armageddon's Kollector edtion. The extra disc had a history of Mortal kombat section. Ign's form is very similar. Thanks for the link man. Wow man. People can't just enjoy something because it's labeled non-cannon blast or whatever? That's a bit cheesy.

And so is the first Mortal Kombat movie, yet they refered it.
In my opinion, MKC was the highest quality MK related product ever released, cannon or not.

You have to remember that the movie's popularity influenced a lot of what later followed in the canon, like Kitana and Liu's hinted romance, Johnny and Sonya's implied crush-thing, Kano developing an Australian accent and losing the bald look, Raiden's gray hair (formally black), even Sub-Zero's MK Mythologies Polar Blast move.
