Guys, seeing as how inactive this clan has been lately, I am announcing an Assassination Assignment for you three to do while I'm at school.

Current Assassination Assignment:

As we arrived back from our previous mission in Sedio, Outworld was completely in distress. People were running around everywhere, so much so that Outworld could have been mistaken for the Chaosrealm.

When we stopped and asked someone about why everyone was in such a mad panic, they said that Shao Kahn was being held captive in his own stronghold by unidentified people.

Assassins, you must rescue Shao Kahn and help him take control of his fortress!

It's the one we never finished. Enjoy.

Shit...I haven't posted in a while. Other than you 3...and an ocassional KK, Me, and TSOE...the clans look dead.

Nah, the clan members don't have to be posting every second of every day to be alive. we're still at the top of the list, aren't we?

Just the clans in general; SKA's, BHOTS are both hitting a dryspell. The OIA and Black Dragon are all down compared to when I first joined.

SZ: What do we need to do MK4Life?

MK: Alright, this is whats going down, I'll enter the the back of the Fortress. You and Sm0k3 go in the front, taking out everything that moves.

Sm0k3: What about Reptile and FF1? Are they in the base?

MK: I'm not sure, I'll try to find Rep, I'm sure they can both handle themselves.

SZ: OK, we need to hurry up and go, everyone still have your weapons? Good.

Sm0k3: Wait, from the looks of you guys and me, we aren't ready for this at all. We're cut, bruised, and battle worn; will we be able to handle this?

MK: We will have to tough it out, this is too important.

*The Group begins its way to the Fortress.*

As I walked around to the base, I knew exactly where the back door was. Shao Kahn always kept a large key to unlock it under a fake patch of grass in the lawn nearby. I didn't doubt that the attackers hadn't found it yet. As cunning and intelligent as they apparently were, they will still lacking enough skill to stay one step ahead of Shao Kahn, and his assassins. As I ripped up the fake patch of grass, surely enough, I found the key.

MK-4-LIFE: *Thinking to myself* Nice. Good old reliable Shao Kahn.

I then proceeded to unlock the door, but it had been reinforced by some kind of large, heavy object, most probably Shao Kahn's crossbow cabinet, which was always located in his lower floors. I then realised that stealth would not be possible in a situation like this. I quickly drew out my war hammer, and with a single thrust, smashed the door open.

As I looked around as the dust cleared, I found myself in the presence of several demons. The same ones that we had battled several weeks earlier in the disgusting land otherwise referred to as the "Netherealm". They quickly noticed my presence, and the fact I was holding a large war hammer.

Demon: Get him! He is here to save his blasted inferior Emperor!

The demons started running at me, and before I knew it, I was struggling to fend off the vile Netherealm scum. I blasted one with my war hammer, and he fell quickly. I then fired a hado energy, hitting another demon and sending him flying into several more. I heard a roar coming from behind me. It was quickly silenced. I turned around to find Sm0k3 and Sub_ZERO kicking a demon lying on the floor.

MK-4-LIFE: What? How did you -

Sm0k3: We found another means of entry.

Sub_ZERO: If you call that an entry.

MK-4-LIFE: Did I miss something?

Sm0k3: Let's just say Seidan Guardsman are good tools to use to smash down brick walls.

MK-4-LIFE: Seidan Guardsman? I was just fending off demons! How could they both be attacking the fortress?

Sub_ZERO: We saw that. This certainly is very odd. We must continue with caution. Who knows what other warriors could be in this stronghold.

Sm0k3: Come on, we must move forward to Shao Kahn's throne room. A Seidan Guardsman told us that's where he is being held captive.

Sub_ZERO: They admit a lot at the point of a shuriken.

MK-4-LIFE: OK, let's go.

M4L: Okay, let's go.

As we proceded cautiously into Shao Kahn's throne room. Suddenly a big yelp was heard in the east part of the temple.

M4L: That is the cry of Shao Kahn!

The kombatants quickly ran to the room where the cry was heard. Inside was a huddled mass lying unconscious on the floor. It was Shao Kahn!

M4L: -Running to Shao Kahn- Master!

Because M4L is too engulfed with getting to Shao Kahn, he does not see the approaching oni

SZ0: M4L watch out!

Before M4L can defend himself, two oni jump on him and start to pound him on the ground. Sm0k3 tries to go help his comrade, but is soon mauled by another oncoming oni. SZ0 quickly runs, and sticks two shurikens into the spine of one of the Oni attacking M4L. M4L then knocks the other one down with his war hammer

Meanwhile, Sm0k3 is hit hard over the head by the oni, and rendered unconscience. The Oni then picks up Sm0k3 and runs out of the door

SZ0: Sm0k3!!!

SZ0 starts to run after the oni, but is quickly grabbed back by M4L.

M4L: No! Our mission is to save Shao Kahn first! We will get Sm0k3 later.

SZ0: But-

M4L: Come on!

M4L and SZ0 run up to the fallen Shao Kahn, and almost reach him, when suddenly, SZ0 is knocked hard unto the floor, by seemingly no one

SZ0: Gah! What the hell was-

SZ0 is then kicked in the ribs by seemingly nothing

M4L: I know what this is!

M4L then swings his hammer, hitting a sorcerer, who had cast himself invisible, in the back

Sorcerer: Ah! -falls to the ground-

M4L then rushes to the side of Shao Kahn, but when he touches him, he dissapears into thin air

Sorcerer: Buahaah! Do you like my diversions M4L? Don't you see that all of your missions are pointless?! You will all--

The Sorcerer quickly receives a shuriken in the back of the neck by SZ0

SZ0: I hate it when they rant....

M4L: Damn! We've been tricked! We must go to the Throne Room. Shao Kahn is probably still there. We must hurry!

SZ0: -running out of the door- You do that, but for now, I'm gonna find Sm0k3.

M4L: I understand. It looks like I'm going to have to do this myself.

I then continued running to the throne room, of which I was almost certain Shao Kahn would be located. As I was running, I was hit in the back of the neck by a powerful hand. I turned around and found a pair of Seidan Guardsmen behind me. I quickly pulled out my war hammer again, and blasted one of the Seidans with it, knocking him unconscious. The other one then launched a high kick, which hit me in the face, knocking me to the floor. He then emerged on top of me, and started kicking my chest and stomach region.

M4L: Oh no you don't!

I then kicked the Seidan square in his groin. He fell to the floor quicker than a bowling ball would.

M4L: That's what you get for messing with Shao Kahn's arch assassin!

I then continued running to the throne room. I reached the door, eventually, after a lot of running, and many calories burned off, I reached the throne room door. It was bigger than I remembered. I went to open it with my key, but I found it to be reinforced with a series of strong planks of wood.

M4L: Dam, this sucks. If only I had something that could blast through these. Oh wait, I do.

I then blasted the door with my war hammer, expecting it to smash open like the fortress rear entrance. It didn't. I found that it did little more than a scratch upon the reinforced steel door.

I then uses my last resort, my telekinetic powers. Using all the strength I had, I tried with all my might to push the door open. I was sure it would work. The door didn't open. About to lose hope, I suddenly heard the sound of bolts hitting the floor inside the throne room. It was the hinges breaking off of the door.

I then knew what I had to do. With another mighty swing of my war hammer, the deed was done. The door smashed open, crushing several warriors in the process. I came to see many Chaosrealmers before me. I was very confused.

M4L: You guys know there are Seidans in the building, don't you?

I was then hit over the back of the head by a Seidan Guardsman. I looked up to see him with his naginata drawn, ready to deliver the final blow to me. I searched for another weapon to throw, but I couldn't find any. I thought it was the end.

I was wrong. The Seidan Guardsman fell to the floor, right beside me. In his back I saw several shuriken. I knew what had transpired. I looked at the throne room entrance and saw Sm0k3 and Sub_ZERO, both of which were badly injured.

Sm0k3: Miss us?

Sub_ZERO: Look!

Sub-ZERO pointed towards Shao Kahn's throne. In it was a horrible sight, Shao Kahn, badly beaten and tied up and gagged. I then saw several demons, Chaosrealmers and Seidans running towards us.

M4L: You will pay for causing harm toward the almighty Emperor!
