I've watched this thread become such a damn spam fest.

If things don't start looking better in here, I'm just gonna have it closed. Other people want a shot at different clans, and by the look of this thing, I'm just about inclined to give them a shot at it.

Now, the only warning to all of you guys, is Stop talking shit about other users, and using this thread as a means to do so. Insulting people while they're not present is almost worse than doing it when they are present. It's immature and against the rules either way.

Seems like the only thing this thread is good for,is an organized bashing when everyone doesn't like one person. So what.

I know of the kid you're all talking about, "toad---" whatever it is. And I can see that he's an antagonist to the clans, however, the best thing to do is simply ignore him // people like him.

So, one more time: If the content of this thread does not improve soon, it's gonna get closed. You gotta remember, I'm the one who vouched for these clan threads as the sub-mod over here in the beginning....So? If all I see is a thread with a bunch of one liners, snappy//witty replies, and conversations going on for pages solely pertaining to one or two users(or starting shit with other users in general).....I start to wonder ; "Why shouldn't I simply, step aside, and let the Portal Guards come through and lock all of them?"

Some of you have noted that these threads have lacked attention? Well, to the rest of you who read this post, THIS is why there is absolutely no rush to open up more clan threads. Leo's Special Forces thread is your example for creativity....it's always moved right along without influence from another thread, or any one person in particular. NightCrows' Black Dragon Clan comes up behind that one as a pure example of the types of members associated with that clan. They get along fine with everyone as far as I can see.

Skorptile, no offense to you at all, but how does he give you the leader, when Ive been more active than anyone in this clan, have done more than anyone, and have helped MK with everything... You been in this clan for like 2 weeks, and havent posted like anything at all

I think its just a little fucked up is all, not that I really care... But i would like to see this clan go active again..

You were all publicly notified of this coming conclusion per, my last post in the Clan Database thread p.11(couple days ago). Of course, I will explain, and in each of these threads, I will post the same scripture...

1. As many of you have noticed, things in these clan threads had slowed to a halt some time ago. So much so, that now for the majority, all that's really been going on is a bunch of spam. Something that is not allowed on this site btw (as much as we can help it anyway).

And I mean, you guys who took the tests that I came up with, you know all that. As a matter of fact, you guys who took the test know all the rules of this site to the extent I did when I ranked up my first and second time(but I'm not focusing on "how to rank up" with this post).

Whoever took those quizzes, and actually took the time to look everything up and find their own answers, you guys know all the rules that make a productive, and even knowledgeable user on MKO for - "the n00bs" that come around after you. It should be extremely rare that you ever receive a skull point if you were one of those people. IF at all, and ESPECIALLY if you have been, OR are currently a Clan Leader. Shame on you, if you ever get one, those of you who are past or present clan leaders. You are the examples for any new user that comes around here.

See, but if you shared your answers amongst each other however, I think it would do you well to go back over the things that I covered in those quizzes. For instance, I can't imagine why MK4-LIFE is banned at all right now. Everything in the quizzes covered exactly how to stay away from being shadow banned, or banned from the site at all(he got almost everything right lol). I mean, unless there's really something funky going on in his case. Have to wait til he gets back to explain I guess.

But y'know, I wasn't just giving you guys the quizzes for no reason. I wanted to make sure that the leaders, and all members of any of the clans were, respectable members beyond the clans.

2. None of the Mods liked the "Clans" idea at the time but me. So, "You're Welcome", for giving these things a 7month shot at it. Can't really ask for more than more than half a year to try them out.

I believe it was kidkombatant who first came to me with the idea. Although, I do remember a couple other clan threads being started without restriction at the time. Things just got to be a mess in this forum(clan threads everywhere. in this forum, over in the fan submission forum, in the future forum...ect), so I elected to regulate things myself, and to go ahead and make sure that everything was, and stayed civil.

After that, things were pretty cool. We had 2 pretty productive clans going at one time. And then, it took a little while, but then I allowed there to be another two, and another two to be opened.

Things just didn't work out. We didn't get to do the competitions, not enough graphic artist were interested long enough to make any sig wars happen....there wasn't enough storytellers around so, we didn't get to do the vote offs, or story-line battles....ect Maybe we'll try it next time....

3. So anyway, I expect you guys, since you know the rules and all, to behave in a civil manner about the closing of these clan threads. And like I mentioned in my earlier post, I have an idea that I'd like to put into play in the future (I realize now with me having school and everything, that it's going to be far future, likely sometime after MKvsDC comes out).

It will be a universal remedy that should solve alot of the dead threads, and spam problems that we ran into with these ones.

If you have any complaints or any questions, I encourage you to shoot them to me. I was the Shadow Priest who helped start these clans, so now as a Portal Guard, I will be the one who consults with anyone who has a problem dealing with them being closed all at once.
