No. I could see Sindel living in MK8, but ever since MK4, they(Sindel, Kitana, and Jerrod when he was alive) have been fighting against Shao Kahn and his evil forces. And the new heirs... I don't think so.

As for Sindel, I think unless they can think of something good for her to do and improve her gameplay she should be killed off in Armageddon. She's run her course and I'm in favor of streamlining the plot.

Anyways, in Sindel's MKA ending, she did bring Jerrod back to life by reaching into the heavens and grabbing his soul. Sindel then put the soul into the corpse and brought Jerrod back to life.
Also what I wrote is *good* material. You don't know GOOD when you see it! Mileena lives and Kitana(ugly bitch whore) finally dies!!!!!

I'd like to see Sindel return in the next-gen MK games, but she's definitely going to need improvements, from her gameplay to some design touches and of course to her story. If they somehow keep incorporating martial arts styles (done with a different fighting system), I'd like to see her keep Cha Chuan (a.k.a. Zha Chuan) but have it be vastly improved and include more simultaneous hand/foot strikes which its known to use quite a bit of.

This much I can agree on. I think Midway did a very stupid thing cutting out the flying fireballs and hair moves. Outfits are alright. She never really had many inspirations for an outfit.

What?! You really must not have paid attention to Sindels story, have you? Jerrod was always good and DIED fighting SHAO KAHN over control of Edenia.
Kitana turned on Kahn in MK2 when she realized that SHAO KAHN got her parents ( Sindel and Jerrod) KILLED as well as the truth about Mileena's origins.
And Sindel comitted SUICIDE in order to avoid being evil. The only reason she was evil in MK3was because Shang Tsung RESURRECTED HER and made it so that Sindel NEVER REMEMBERED HER DEATH. When Kitana managed to get to sindel, Kitana revealed that Shao Kahn was NOT HER HUSBAND, as well as revealing that SHE WAS BEING USED in order to conquer Earth. She then BETRAYS Kahn ands FOILS HIS PLAN.
It's really stupid when someone clearly overlooks their story. No amount of writing could ever redeem that.


It would be impossible for Kahn not to notice someone killing a titanic firespawn on top of a pyamid and find someone resurrected. BIG strike ot there. Second, When Sindel betrayed Kahn, she became good again. She practically despises Kahn for using her and even sentenced Reptile to imprisionment for comitting mass genocide, ruling out any potential alliance. As for Kahn killing everyone... Don't count on it.

Jerrod killing Kahn, alright. The way it is done, not likely. I'm sure Kahn would get suspicious if Sindel was hugging him. Also if you read Sindel's ending like you claim you did, you would notice this...Sindel formed the alliance to REPEL tyrants. And if Mileena contiued her charade as Kitana and decided to marry Baraka and spread tyranny, I'm sure Sindel and Jerrod would notice that along with the fact that she almost ALWAYS keeps her mask on.

I'm not surprised that many people like her in MK3, but find her dull and significantly less exciting in MKD/MKA. I feel the same way.

She should return with more of her MK3 qualities, especially her special moves and evil look.

Just cuz she's good doesn't mean she has to look all nice and majestic. Ermac looks like a demonic creep afterall, and he's good.

As for her story, all I want is for her to be treated as an important figure. Despite being the queen of one of the most prestiguous realms, she's been treated like a powerless figure with no necessity for her presence. Even in MKA where it's all about Edenia gaining new protectors and this and that... does the ruler have no say in anything going on in her realm?

That's mainly all I want, but I don't want her sitting on the throne all day either. I also want her to get involved in the main stories and use her resources more.

As for costumes, the purple outfit is great and lets that witchy favors shine, but cut down on the skankiness. I hate how half of her outfit in MKD/MKA had to be skin. It just doesn't look serious.

Xia, she's only been in 2 games. You really think it's fair to say that she's run her course? Plus, I don't even really think her MKD bio counts much cuz all it is is her MK3 bio in reverse. Kitana saved her from being brainwashed in MK3 and in MKD Sindel is doing the same for her. What a rip-off.

It would be nice to have her here for another gamer, although I doubt it would happen because it would take a lot of creativity and thought for it to happen (Which Midway lacks) it would be really nice to see my Diva return for a new game.

Personally, when it comes to Mortal Kombat in general, this goes for all the characters, but they need better game play, the game is far too much of a button masher, and too little moves, they need a better defensive system, even if it is as simple as it was in UMK, it's really weak now, breakers, parries that counter everything, w/e. So If Sindel did return I see her as a more defensive character, using all he tactics to her defense.

Sindel's actually been in 3 MK games not two, MK3, MKD and MKA.

5 if you want to get technical including MK3, UMK3, MKT, MKD and MKA (MK3/UMK3 and MKT she's the same though, just listing which games she's been in)

She's only had 2 bios though.

And we've only seen to versions of her: MK3 and MKD

To me, we've only seen her twice in the series. Extended games like UMK3 and MKA don't count for me since they did not re-new her.

I agree with you, QueenSindel. I hope they bring back her more evil look if she comes back in MK8(which I hope she does).

I didn't like that her hair was shortened when she came back in MKD, because I was hoping that she'd still have her ever-so-famous hair throw. So hopefully that will get fixed if she ever comes back in any future MK game.

One game, two games, nine games....it doesn't matter. If a character's story arc has achieved a beginning, middle, and end...it's run it's course. Story-wise, Sindel COULD continue, but she doesn't really NEED to.
