Well, considering Khameleon had Tanya's moves in MKA for the Wii and her costume changed to yellow as well, I really don't blame people for thinking of Tanya as a yellow female "ninja". The swimsuit doesn't help either. She's also Edenian like Kitana, Jade and Mileena (partially) and she was a last minute replacement for Kitana in MK4. So, in every single way she's tied to the female "ninjas".

I don't think of her as a yellow female ninja, but I really can't blame people who do, especially with the "Khameleon issue".

Yea, im not busting on anyone for liking her, I just never understood what it was that made people such fans.

I made this topic in response to Tanya placing so high on everyone's DLC wishlist, but since I didn't mention it, this thread got moved.

My biggest thing is from a game play perspective, I don't see how she would be very interesting in MK9.

Generic fireball, Generic air fireball, Cammy's cannon drill kick would be cool I guess.

Tanya is a yellow kitana. Just as mileena is a purple kitana, and jade is a green kitana. That's what the MK team does, they create characters who look just like an existing character and change the color scheme.

Tanya is in the same style as Kitana, Mileena and Jade, but so is Sindel. It's to show that that's how female Edenians dress in the world of Mortal Kombat. That does NOT make her a ninja. Tanya is as much a ninja as Sindel is.

I don't see how Sindel is in the same style as Jade/Kitana/Mileena/Tanya.

Leotard, gloves, thigh-high boots... It's the same style.
