I'm so fed up with people saying "Oh Mileena's low kick is so evil, derp derp derp". In comparisson from the Demo release to what she is now she's been severly nerfed with damage scaling and her special attacks are incredibly unsafe to recover from when blocked. In the Demo an Advanced Combo from her would do about 45-56% damage. The exact same combo's would now only cause 35% at most.
Big fucking whoop-de-doo that she has ONE move at her disposable that is actually fail proof safe to use and effective. Get over it. There are characters on that Roster who are broken to shit that need much more attention and nerfs imo, like Kabal, who's spin dash leaves you open to a combo for way too long or the strength of Ermac's TK moves. She doesn't need any more nerfs, if anything some armour on her enhanced Drop Kick or having the recovery time reduced on a blocked ground roll are desperately needed for a Mileena Player. She needs buff more so than anything else.

Perhaps something drastic, since the "Jade is useless" statement is thrown around frequently. Also, since she's not considered to be the absolute worst in the game, an honor often bestowed to Baraka, Sindel, or Sheeva (no matter how many times the Sheeva haters are proven wrong) she's more immediately fixable? Hehe, I don't know, I'm just talking out of my ass.

Don't use 'broken' and 'Kabal' in the same sentence.
Kabal's dash is punished by full combo. Scorpion, Sub, Cyrax, and others have similar stun moves that lead to full combos, none of which are 'broken'.
And a whiffed TK move is one of the most easily punished things in the game, if you know how to block.
Block D4 and well...you're eating that overhead combo starter. Block that, it's back to D4, etc. Everything else about Mileena is fine except for that. No major nerf and DEFINITELY no buffs needed.

Mileena is one of the last people to need a buff, that D4 shit needs to go, it's ridiculous.
There's plenty of other crazy shit that Mileena can do that's just as effective and far less cheesy.

As a Mileena player, I would actually vote for a buff.
Yeah she may have quite a few mix-ups but she is INCREDIBLEY easy to punish.
Roll, Teleport, Up-4, Back-3, all have way too many recovery frames.
Give me less recovery frames for her Teleport and then it will be all evened out.

Her teleport is really easy to punish now that I think about, not just the fact that it's easy to block, but compared to other player, Mileena is up in the air forever while the other person has like 3 seconds to do something.

I think Millena needs neither a buff nor a nerf. She is great as she is. Her specials are really fast, but have a big recovery time, wich is not that big compared to other charachters moves, such as the recovery time for a blocked kabal's dash. I get beat by Millena a lot, but i still think she is one of the best balanced charachters in the game, a nerf would make her weak, and a buff too strong. (specially if we are talking about her kick from above)

Exactly. I've said it before, I think Mileena(after her post-demo-super-nerf) is the most balanced character in the game. When I play against others with Mileena, if I evade, the roll takes off so fast that it is almost certain to lead into a big combo, there's no stopping it in certain situations. The same with the teleport kick, which I think is an extremely versatile move. The trade off is that they MUST be confirmed or at least catch the opponent off guard(pretty easy to do) or she'll take heavy punishment for it. She's damn near unstoppable until she makes a mistake, which makes her good/bad balance cap at both extremes.
That said, the fact that she has a single move that is exempt from this 'Mileena can't make mistakes' rule is a godsend.

Wow, looks like Kung Lao and Cyrax are going to plummet. Armor on Sub's EX is nice, but it doesn't do much good when it pushes the opponent across the screen

u+4 is not only safe it's actually advantage for her on block.
A safer teleport would be insane. With sai added it gets punished with an uppercut or d+1~special. How can you reasonably ask for a safer teleport kick?

I've read rumors about further damage scaling increase after Kitana's enhanced fan toss and it really made me sad. It seems they're doing it to nerf her unbreakable damage combos, but those do cca. 25%-30% damage with one bar of meter (If I'm not wrong). That's OK in my book, besides it's what makes her special, why mess with that, she's not considered overpowered. This damage scaling already took place in one of the previous patches and here's what happens:
Kitana meterless combo: 50% damage
jip, f2, 1 - njp - 4 into fan toss - 4 into fan lift - b2 into fan toss - fan toss - f2 into cutter
NOTE: I simplified the inputs by removing all the dashes and time delays you have to apply to make this combo work.
Now, this same combo performed after dash cancelling out of her enhanced fan toss does 47%. So you use a bar of meter, you need extra skill to pull it off, you build your opponent's meter a bit more and you're rewarded with less damage. I can take 3% less, but with a further damage scaling increase I wonder where it's gonna end up.
I hope that's not what they'll mess with. Hopefully it'll be the issue with no damage scaling activation after her grounded fan hits an airborne opponent like Osu said in another thread. That would be fair to address.

Kung Lao's spin move was already nerfed heavily and I win 9 out of 10 matches against him. With these nerfs he will be a total joke. Same goes for Cyrax.

Smoke Bomb does have chip, unless that was changed. I still don't see the problem with Ermac having chip on his push and lift. You can't play the realism card in this game, and I feel like that's what you're doing. Ermac is already kinda crappy the way he is now, he needs no further nerfs. Give him his cancels back, if anything... they made him so predictable because people whined about him when he wasn't even top 5 before the nerf. Block button, people.

Could Sub-Zero get something cool? You know... make him more intimidating to fight with? I don't know why, but I feel that anyone who plays as Sub-Zero gets treated like a joke... Sub-Zero needs to be cooler online rather than Cyrax or... Kabal...Unless I'm just not seeing it.

I don't think Jade's useless, I just think that too many of her combos push the opponent too far away, not allowing her to continue juggles as well as others, not saying she doesn't have any combos that allow such, but it's certainly a problem, but her various directions for her boomerang and her dodging shadows shut down zoning if performed consistently and can really trip up opponents.
I think Jade is ranked higher than Baraka, Sheeva, Stryker, and Sindel(not 100% sure though), but I still think all five of them should get some buffs.
A commentator at EVO was saying that Sindel and Stryker were garbage and not very good, I think the announcer was JEDI something or other.

What about Sub-Zero is wrong or not cool? I'm just curious, though I'm glad he's getting an armor buff, everyone's enhanced moves should have had armor anyway.

Top tier Kung Lao's a joke? His spin should be punishable like Baraka's spin, when I block Baraka's spins, I can punish with a full combo, whereas the best you can do to Kung Lao after a missed spin is projectile him.
Meh, I don't know. Maybe its just the fact that I haven't played too much MK today to get in the groove. I was pitted against a lot of Kabal and Cyrax users, as well as some Ermac users and they just have these moves that no matter what I throw at them, it's not enough. While they have these moves that are just unlimited that can carry into huge combos and moves.
Do I want to be that cheap with Sub-Zero though? No, but I just feel that he doesn't really have anything awesome to move into.
That or I just didn't have a good run in with the 1 on 1 matches even though I rocked in the tags today... Odd...? Kinda....
