They would've been better off just showing gameplay videos of the characters that were only featured on E3 2014. They shot themselves in the foot by having the latter revealed characters playable in recent builds. & NRS is trying to atone for their mistake by playing games with us. I possibly expect the reveal gameplay video to be shown on the 32nd of January.

He said they were "just working out the details." Sounds to me like it's done, they just need to set stuff up for its release.

I think he was probably too vague. He could've said "It'll drop sometime next week" or "It'll be coming in the next few weeks".

I'm all for the character teasing. That's hilarious. Especially when you're a member here. Plus, those are always going to be considered "teases"...unless it's NRS endorsed as a reveal. I rarely to never take the tweets seriously, but you can tell this particular tweet was sent with intention.

Put it this way, imagine if someone, a friend perhaps, told you I have an awesome gift for you and it'll be here soon. So inside, you're a little excited, but days pass, maybe months and nothing. A part of you will probably start thinking, what happened and maybe later you'll forget all about it. Then one day you're friend is like here's your present and at first youd be real surprised and still super grateful for it, but you'd probably start thinking why bring up you have a present only to receive it months later. It's not that you're being entitled, it's something that makes you wonder. It's kinda mean to tease someone and then take it back.

I understand Boon wants it to be like it was back in the 90s when it comes to reveals, but it's not. As you stated, our generation has short attention spans. But there are ways to tease people instead of getting them hyped for weeks and nothing.

I am not saying everybody falls into this, but a lot of internet people (especially some of our fellow MK fans) seem to have some sort of entitlement issues lol I understand wanting more info and all of that, but you have people like "Grrrrrrr herpty do im so pissed off we haven't seen anything new in a whole month a WHOLE MONTH!!! " Or " AHHHHH ANOTHER MK1-3 CHARACTER FUCK THIS GAME AND FUCK ED BOON IM CANCELLING MY PRE-ORDER!"

^ yup, It does make you wonder. They could show nothing else and I'd still be playing it at midnight April 14th lol. It makes no difference to me but I question their strategy for the people that actually need to be marketed to. It's 90s merchandising like you said but the game blackout is unusual. It's like a 2 month assault of information with comics, shows, actions figures and controllers lol. Spread that shit out son.

Lol 2 ain't that bad. Pretty sure I'm going digital for this one. It's one of the few games I'll keep switching back too so it's nice just to click the icon and not switching disks. Wish they would show the collectors editions so I could decide.
