Now why dont they change the name of the game and NRS to Scorpion! and Scorpion Studios and change the dragon logo to Scorpion logo as well.

It may be off topic, but it is a damn good point. The list of one-trick ponies in this universe is shockingly long for a franchise with such an illustrious history.

But Tanya was only in FEW games, Scorpion was in all but one.

Tanya didn't really get enough time to shine and change, while Scorpion had more than 20 freaking years to change, but Boon just wants to keep the (non-excisting) soul alive in his boring story.

Scorpion is so popular because most people on this planet have the brains of plants, they just like what they see most.

If I were Ed Boon, I wouldn't be listening to any of this either.

Let's also ignore that Scorpion's story has changed in every game he's been in. Sure, in the more recent games he's only been out for revenge, but his motivation for revenge hasn't always been the same.

That about says it all. I have no idea where this "every MK character is a beautiful and unique snowflake" mentality came from. Some of them are pure shit, and should just be left in the past. Tanya on the cover of MK is one of the most absurd things I've heard in my entire life.

Other fighting games do the same sh*t. Street Fighter has always been about Ryu and Ken, KOF always has Kyo and Iori in all the trailers and screens and games like DOA promote their ninjas more than anything i've ever seen. Why does it matter what MK does?

Nope, I like it as well, even though I'm not that huge of a fan for Scorpion. It really doesn't make that much of a difference to me what's on it or not, it's just a box.

I actually care more about the other side of the box more than the cover.

I don't understand why its so hard to understand that some people are more original and that they want changes and are sick and tired of staying with the old favorites.

And Tanya has a good fanbase, she isn't hated like Kobra or Hsu Hoa, only Scorpion Fans that dislike girls because they are girls hate Tanya.

But you're talking about people who are already MK diehards. They're going to buy the game no matter what. The cover has to appeal to the broader market, people who haven't thought about MK since 2011 or earlier. None of those people are going to buy a game with Tanya on the cover. None of them know or care who Tanya is.

Where exactly did I say I wanted only Tanya on the cover? I want a cover with mutliple characters, not just one.

But then you're still going to have a cover of 95% old school characters that have huge fanbases already. They aren't going to pimp the C-Team so their fans have their day.
