THQ Wirelessä Inc., a subsidiary of THQâ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI), today announced that it has obtained a license from MidwayÒ to bring seven of the best Midway arcade titles to mobile devices. All games and content are expected to be available through leading carriers worldwide.Along with the original Mortal Kombat, other Midway games set to be ported to cell phones include Defender, Joust, Robotron: 2084, Spy Hunter, Marble Madness, and Tapper. In addition, THQ's page for the Mortal Kombat game says "Available Now", but has no screenshots or compatibility information. Keep watching here, though; as soon as we learn something more, we'll be sure to report on it.
From Mortal Kombat’s signature moves, to the flying action of Joust, to the outer space warfare of Defender, THQ Wireless is bringing Midway’s classic arcade hits to mobile users across the globe.
