MK: Deadly Alliance appears in PSM.
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance received a mention in the May issue of PSM Magazine. The article shows artwork of new character Blind Kenshi (also seen in Game Informer). To see the article for yourself head on over to Ed Boon's personal website.

We have also heard PSM Magazine will be doing a cover story of MK: Deadly Alliance in their June issue. More on that soon.

We are Back.. again!
Sorry for being out during the weekend. As you have probably noticed we have been having some problems keeping online the past couple of weeks. As our site has grown in popularity we have been having problems with handling all the bandwidth. However issues with bandwidth are not why we were down this weekend. We were busy moving to a new dedicated server so we can handle all of the traffic that has been pouring in. With being on this dedicated server we should no longer have downtime and we will finally get around to updating our Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance section in the coming week.

So once again, welcome back to MK5.org and enjoy your stay!

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance Artwork Contest Announced!
Midway Games has announced a new contest for the artistically inclined MK fans to enter, with the grand prize being a copy of the game when it comes out! From the website:

Submit your own Mortal Kombat artwork and have a chance to have it placed in the Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance video game where it will reside forever! In addition, the top ten winners will each receive a copy of the Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance when it ships this Fall.

Contest rules and the entry form can be found at the contest page, located here. Good luck to all of our artists in the contest!

Midway Releases New Sub-Zero Image.
Midway has released another image of Sub-Zero, this time directly to the fan sites! This drawing, partially seen in the Game Informer article, shows Sub-Zero in an alternate costume, this time more akin to his Lin Kuei uniform. The question now becomes, "What will the female Sub-Zero look like...?"

New Images at MK:DA site: Sub-Zero and Jax!
The official Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance website has updated with two new images. The first one shows a rendering of Jax as he will appear in the game. (The new look is a far cry from the look he sported when we first saw his picture with Scorpion.) The second is a drawing of Sub-Zero in a variation of his MK3 costume previously seen in the Game Informer magazine.
