Injustice 2 Trailer Reveals Captain Cold, Bane & Scarecrow
Injustice 2 packs in more villainy in new trailer!

It's good to be bad -- or at least, that's what the latest trailer for Injustice 2 would have you believe! Captain Cold, Bane and Scarecrow officially join the fight in the newest preview. Watch:>/p<

Injustice is right there in the title, and there will be plenty of playable villains for players to take control of - or beat into submission - in Injustice 2! Gorilla Grodd shares the spotlight in the latest trailer, showcasing his telepathic and ape attacks!

Captain Cold comes to play representing The Rogues - bad guys with a special dislike for The Flash and their own code of conduct. The ice gun wielding bad guy delivers an artctic swirly to Superman in the trailer, resembling the TV version, more than your beloved comic classic.

Batman villains Bane and Scarecrow also have new looks for the Injustice video game. Bane's trimmed down and armored up to throw hands and drop kicks. Scarecrow is more inhuman than ever before, wielding a sickle and chain to inspire fear in his opponents. Is he alive or dead? Questions abound as we count down to NetherRealm Studios' next big fighter!

Firestorm Lights Up Injustice 2 in Official Trailer
The Nuclear Man burns up the battlefield in Injustice 2 trailer

We got our first look at Firestorm during the recent studio tour reveal with UpUpDownDown. Now see Injustice 2's newest hero in his own light in the official reveal trailer. Watch:

This incarnation of DC's Nuclear Man is indeed Jason Rusch, wielder of the Firestorm Matrix with internal guidance from brilliant scientist Professor Martin Stein! Together they combine as one body with two minds, carrying a torch of justice with the might of brain and brawn!

The new trailer also features Green Arrow and Catwoman as Firestorm's sparring partners - and an exciting cameo from Killer Croc during a stage transition move! Seen in Arkham Asylum in the first Injustice game, it seems Croc has found his way back to the sewers in the sequel!

Traditionalists will recognize design inspiration taken more so from CW TV shows than classic comics. The restrictions of the fighting game engine also seem to be focusing on flame over the more esoteric power of subverting subatomic structure.

Rumors persist that a Blackest Night Deathstorm skin could also be on its way to the finished game, giving players control over the dark fire of space-zombie Ronnie Raymond! Will the Injustice 2 gear system also allow fans to unlock puffy sleeves and a brighter yellow/red color palette? We can only hope!

In the words of Cyborg, The Regime is making a comeback -- but not everyone is fighting on the same side. Green Lantern Hal Jordan has purged the impurity of yellow fear (and red rage, apparently) and pledged himself to fight The Regime he once helped!

Green Arrow looks to be back in some capacity, joining recently revealed Doctor Fate, The Flash and Batman in their stand against a Superman who is very different from our own!

The trailer also gives us our first moving impression of villainous speedster: Zoom! The Reverse-Flash is one of three confirmed Premier Skins that will unlock new counterpart characters on the playable roster. The Ultimate Edition also grants access to Powergirl and Green Lantern, John Stewart!

An icon of the Golden Age; Kent Nelson is the wearer of the Helmet of Fate -- a mystic artefact that connects him with the magic of Lord of Order, Nabu. He stands opposed to Superman and his Regime in the world of Injustice, able to curtail even the Kryptonian's incredible strength!

Fate's iconic costume made an appearance in the first Injustice [full story], displayed in the background of the Hall of Justice arena. This sadly did not materialize a playable Fate, though he did make appearances in Zatanna's story ending, and the Injustice App.

Thankfully, Injustice 2 is picking up the tab on a whole lot of DC heroes and villains we've been hoping to see since the last game!

The reveal trailer checks off one of the last characters teased by a promotional tee last year. Doctor Fate joins a thrilling roster that also includes: Swamp Thing, Gorilla Grodd, Atrocitus, Blue Beetle, Deadshot, Cheetah, Supergirl and the icons of the DC Universe!
