The first stop on the Mortal Kombat 11 Pro Kompetition tour is now in the books! Combo Breaker kicked off the 2019/2020 series in Chicago, with a mind blowing 800 players trying their luck over the three day weekend event!

Another Fatal Friday happens tonight at 10 PM central time with special guest host SurvivedKombatants. We're streaming a bit later tonight, to match our guest host's schedule. And speaking of changes, there's another reminder that there will be NO Fatal Friday on 5/17, the next show will air on 5/24. So, make sure you tune in tonight to get your fix on! Fatal Friday is upon all of us! The rules are quite clear. To compete in Fatal Friday, on XBOX ONE, simply go online, and join the room titled "Fatal Friday" from the room server list. Once there, join Fatalkade's King of the Hill game and your in. If the match is full, feel free to keep trying to get in, as people will potentially leave the server during the two-hour show. The room server will go up around 7:30 pm central time every single Friday, starting tomorrow, so be ready!

A couple of weekends ago Indianapolis arcade Boss Battle Games hosted a special Mortal Kombat High Score Kompetition! Only the bravest chosen warriors faced the Mortal Kombat cabinet, as the Facebook highlights montage shows:

The rivalry has been rekindled ahead of a second season of Electronic Sports League tournament action! The North American Mortal Kombat X Pre-Season Cup came down to a finals pairing familiar to anyone who's followed the MK scene since 2011: 2015 Evo World Champion SonicFox5000 besting 2011/2012 champ PerfectLegend in the online final!

It was a massive turn out for the online tournament, contested over a nearly full 256 fighter bracket! Like all good tournaments, it was do-or-die single elimination, with the final winner claiming a $250 purse. Here's the full rundown:
