They had some great character ideas in Ermac, Rain, Noob Saibot... hell even Smoke! What ruined them was that they were all clones.

I think if they should return, they should definetly get new outfits.

Rain: Some kind of Edenian, Imperial Army sort of thing...
Ermac: Hmmm... I dunno.
Noob Saibot. Ditto. Maybe just a shilloute again?
Smoke: If human, than go with a gray version of Subby's clothes, since their clan members and all...

Smoke has always been a favorite. I just wish they beefed up his story more and even bothered to give Human Smoke in UMK3 storyline besides saying "His human form is just a memory" or whatever it was.
I can't believe I'm going to be the first one to say this, but my favorite male ninja is probably Scorpion.

I always thought he was most peoples' favorite, but from what everyone else has said, I was WAY off!

That's why I really like Genesis UMK3. For an ending, it says that winning the tournament allows Smoke to ESCAPE his artifial body. Then he goes back to the Hidden/Living Forest and starts training again, hopinig to master the fighting skills of Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Ermac inorder to be prepared for MK4.

Guess he lost track of time or something...

Sub-Zero and Scorpion! What's wrong with you? The others could never touch those two. Sub-Zero can literally freeze people in their tracks. While Scorpian can throw a spear through enemies yell at them and beat the shit out of them. The rest are all copies.furious

i think the are all pretty sweat in their own way. i mean hey they all ahve a way to win ver easily basically cheating but not really. rain can win with the lightning thing sub freezes people scorpions spear smokes claw ermac and is little green dealy reptile who can be invisibale and spit and all this other crap noob has that cloud thing. but the best are the original 3 sub scorion and reptile they kick ass.

Well, I've always been partial to Rain and Noob. However, Rain was really only in one game, and Noob spent most of his time as a hidden character and seems to have dissapeared again, so I can't in good conscience say they're the "best". That would be like saying that Stanley the Bugman was the best Mario character or that Garuda was the best Street Fighter character. So, I'm probably going to have to go for Sub-Zero.

Well, in MK:DA it is definitely Scorpion first then Sub-Zero. In MKT I LOVED Rain and Noob-Saibot. Rain is especially good with that damn forceball of his, you can almost lock the opponent up completely with juggles. However, even after saying this my overall favorite would have to be Scorpion for consistency and well-roundedness. Midway SHOULD bring back Rain in all his glory or even better!
