I must say I went to an arcade only website, and the list included arcades from MK2 and MK3, but MK1 is anavailable. I wonder if that is because the MK1 that was released had other games with it too (in arcade mode)

If you were a MK fan with that much to spend, you'd be better off buying a PCB off ebay and making your own cabinet. And still have enough money to spend on an expensive gift for your girlfriend to make up for the toy you just bought/made yourself. Thats what i did!

Seriously though. It is kind of cool. I'm gonna have a look and see how they coped with the various different button mappings...............

Uhhhh, guys... Thats a MAME Cabinet. I'm pretty sure it is anyways, and they aren't legal to own. (I built my own) They use roms you download off the net. There are 100's of sites on the net you can download these... also $3000... I've seen them under $2000. Or you can spend a few hundred and build your own :) It's not too hard. Anywho, I'm surprised MKO.COM featured this here. Search for MAME Cabinet on google and see all of the websites that allow you to get these machines. most come with ALL MK'S (up to UMK3)

ye, but i am not sure that ́s a mame arcade, i believe its a pcb with many games, if it was mame then it would run windows and stuff, you would see it
but i prefer to buy a jamma cabinet and all of the mks pcbs

Its not a MAME cabinet, its an Ultracade system. You can check them out online. Usually you buy a base system with 86 games on it for a couple of thousand. If you want to add more you have to buy them in game packs that cost a few hundred dollars. All are real classic arcade games legally licensed.

This is a special version with a different set of games preloaded on its harddrive. It has proprietary emulation software and I am not sure what the hardware is like.

These systems are legal. You could even put one of these in an arcade and accept money to play them. Ultracades usually have coin slots and everything. I used to play 19XX on an Ultracade system at Seaside Heights NJ on this enormous screen. It rocked.

The system's been around for years, the MK games have even been available for it I believe, I know they've had midway packs for a long time. This is cool and fitting for the site because this is a special Chicago edition, focusing on MK with an edition dedicated to the birthplace of MK. Good stuff.

An arcade near me has something very similar. I'll have to check the name of it, but I believe it is that very machine. I saw SF2, MK1, Darkstalkers, Pac-Man, Marble Madness, even Xybots and Q-Bert. It looked like at least a hundred games.

My arcade had an Ultracade Street Fighter Anniversary Collection with all SF II and Alpha games.

I'm working on a mame cabinet atm :D so all MK's and 5000-6000 other games :D

to bad the machine costs $3000 dollars
