Holy $h!t this is crazy! Hidden password entry??

I've been reading all the threads about version code and hidden stuff and was anxious to figure it out. So I turned on my Xbox and decided to try some stuff. After the whole Krypt spelling thing I was out of ideas. Then I tried creating a new profile with the name NOOBSAIBOT, for some reason the letters were the exact amount. For the password I just copied the example it shows, which is: down, white, X, up, down, L. I confirmed the password and after I pressed A to continue, the screen just turned black and didn't know what to do. There was a faint beeping noise in the background, but I wasn't sure if I should just turn it off cuz I figured the game had frozen. But it occurred to me that maybe this had something to do with the "version kode" or "final secret". So I tried typing in the same password, and it made the sounds it usually makes when you enter your password. After pressing the last button it made a access denied kinda sound, y'know the annoying ennnhhhh buzzer sound. Any thoughts on this occurrence?

Interesting, if there is a final secret profile names could be the key to finding it.

i would say that is a glitch.i tried that on the ps2 and nuthing happend.

Maybe it was a glitch because I had tried it again and nothing happened. But I think its weird that later today I tried once again and the screen thing happened again (although this time I noticed that the time was exactly 12:43 pm)?confused

Well, glitch or not, I think it's actually a pretty good guess for a way of getting to the Final Secret (for the ones who still believe in it, at least). I mean, if it was just for selection of Profiles, it wouldn't make alot of sense, since most people choose the same simple password (all Xs in PS2) so they don't have to memorize one. So, that becomes a normal Profile Choice, as in any other game.

So, if you thing a little bit about it, maybe the Password Screen is a hidden Secret/Cheat switch. Just maybe...

The password screen could be used as a place to access stuff. Like the gameboy advance version, where if you entered "KWIKKASH", you'd get max koins, or something like that.
It is doubtful that the same code for one console will work for another.

Bleh, if you see this, you have only 12 visits, which means that you're a noob, and that proves that you know shit about MK, the final secret is the version kode, it sucks, end of the history, no noobsaibot thingy, nor hidden password or some shit.

Oh, and if Ed Boon says that you've found the real final secret, I'll sell my soul in 2 bucks.

True, I followed Mk since its beggining, and I entered the board not long ago. Just cause I heard of MK5.

I just chose the mk dragon logo but the only time it actually does something is around 12:43 (To save a shit load of time just set your clock to 12:40 or something and do it.)
