i finished it a while ago, and i play almost everyday. im not board with it. i play for the fun of playing...as there is always more to learn.
just set goals for yourself. get some friends over and have matches with certin rules, combo contests, etc...you get the idea.

Yeah, things like that. Perhaps fight a friend with stipulations: Fight in one style only, Use only combos, Use no combos, etc. Things like that. Of course, you have to have a friend to play it with, something some people may lack.
If you haven't played through konquest dozens of times, go back through it with all the characters. The first time through I didn't pay much attention to the story line, but when I went back through again to get koins it kept me entertained. Also, the names of the locations the monk travels through are interesting to see, in my opinion. There's always the 'final secret' thing as well, but I wouldn't play the game for a secret that might not even exist. Its a good game as is.

Here's what I've been doing:
I've been keeping track of what characters I've beaten the game with. First, I beat the game with these settings:
Round time-60
Rounds to win-2
Then, after beating the game with these settings, I change them to 3 rounds to win instead of 2 and beat the game again. After that, I change the round timer to a different time and start over. While beating the game, I first start off on novice, then I work my way to easy, medium, hard, etc. I also keep track of who I'm beating the game with (and under which settings) and write it down.
Anyway, that's what my challenge is. Just be sure to write it down (as I said previously) and beat the game with all the settings that are possible, and be sure to do this with every character. Now that should keep you from getting bored. It's your choice if you want to do this or not, but I've been doing this ever since I got the game and I'm still working on it. It's kept me occupied in the game for quite some time. This challenge is one of the reasons why I'm not bored of the game.

Here's a way I play with my brother. We set up a kind of tournament thing.
Basically, we each work our way through the characters, starting from our worst and ending with our best. Whoever wins stays that character for the next fight, the loser moves up one fighter in their list. For example my worst character is Li Mei. I'll fight with Li Mei until I lose, in which case I'll move up to my next best character which is probably Cyrax. Same with my brother. The winner keeps the same character, the loser moves onto their next best character. The first one to beat the other's last fighter is the winner.
Try doing something like that. It's really fun.

Thats a nice idea white_pointer,
my problem is that i dont have any friends that are good at mkda as i am....i dont get challenge....
I just redo konquest mode.....
I didnt like raiden in mkda....
the only character i found interesting in mkda when i bought it was scorpion.
but heres what i do
pick a character you like or hate for that matter....
do his/her konquest modes....go into practise mode and learn some combos....
you eventually find the character more appealing cos you find new things all the time.
me and tgrant are always finding new things and new ways of playing...even its a tiny thing....
i always thought the shove in pi gua was useless until after reading a few posts and putting into practice the shove/hellfire technique...works wonders against MAX and characters that have reversals.
Mavado has a spinning backfist in wing chun by pressing back + r1 (special move), and its not even in the movelist.
Experimenting is one thing...mastering mkda is another....
I thought i was a scorpion master, but finding new things like the shove hellfire techniques broaden my visions for mkda.
The game play is fantastic in mkda.
I'd like a feature that will allow us to select styles, maybe as an unlockable feature, we dan imagine scorpion using drunken or raiden using crab....the gameplay would be almost unlimited....everytime i play mkda i enjoy it.....it all depends on how much you want to enjoy it too

I play the game : 3 rounds to win, NO time limit, I think time limit is not fair, I say : EXTREME BATTLE: 3 TO 5 ROUNDS TO THE DEATH !!! and Mini-game every 3 matches!! That's the way to play extreme at MK:DA . Smoke mariwouana and play, that will bring new fun to your gaming experience.!!!

I'm going to have go with what most of you said. Find new challenges and master each and every character.
Perhaps there are some hidden surprises in that game. You never know...

Well....what I do is:
Since 2 days I spend time with some annoying guy
who comes to my house for no reason but to play video games.(realy annoying...anyways...)
Mostly we spend time playing Tekken 4,Mortal Kombat ect.
Each and single time we set up rules like ~Crow~ said.
The current rules we have now for Mortal Kombat:DA,and other games are:
-Winner chooses the opponents next character
-Handicap 30% to 50%
-Play rocks-paper-sissors to decides who gets to pick the arena\stage.
-Unlock all characters and ect WITHOUT saving.
(applys to other video games other than MK:DA
because I think MK:DA has the auto-save feature.)
-Always use/don't use fatalities.(Should you break this rule, the battle goes to the victim
of the fatality or suppose to be)
There are more rule but I don't feel like posting them all.In conclusion all the games are fun
if you add twists and turns to it.Happy Gaming!
