I play Mortal Kombat constantly and always with reptile and i own all the mortal kombat games so i have alot of fun but i missed reptile in deception. I'm best with Reptile.

After playing MK2KB yesterday, and Dreemer the other night, I'm gonna have to lower my UMK3 rating to 6/10 and suggest Dreemer raise his to at least 7/10 right now (and thats while ur rusty) and MK2KB raise his to 15/10, oh can't do that? Then 9.999999/10 - honestly, those who ranked themselves highly in umk3/mkt find Matt on kaillera, it will be a real eye-opener...

Honestly.....probably like 2/10 for all. I know all the moves, I know juggles, I know the basics...but I don't play seriously and I've never had good competition. I've got no delusions of being a high level player.

BUT when it comes to useless information like Kung Lao's MK3 bio, revision history and THE RED CARPET I am a 10/10 top tier player!

Good competition is the key and sadly for many it is extremely difficult if at all possible to find. Without it, there is essentially no way to become a higher level player. Its kind of sad to see how many dedicated MK fans could have and probably would have been high level players if only there was the competition for them to learn from.

Perhaps there is hope with UMK3 for XB360. Dare I say renaissance?

I think a more accurate system would be to rate against the computer so it's easier to REALLY see how good someone is. Let's say a 5/10 is the cpu level

This really didn't seem wierd until I typed out the whole thing but once I thought about, there was something wierd about this list. I spent the majority of my time with the older games but I'm still better with the newer ones. MK4 and DA are my LEAST played games but I am better with them. Logicly MKII and UMK3/Trilogy should be my highest rated games.

I guess games are just easier nowadays.
