Well, I was wondering how everyone would rate their own skill level in each MK game?
A lot of people are big fans of MK, but aren't even that good at the games themselves. Give yourself a score outta 10, list any MK games you want - and make note of if you prefer playing on the consoles or Arcade.

MK2 - 4.5/10 (Reptile)

MK3 - 7/10 (Cyber Smoke)

UMK3 - 7.5/10 (Cyber Smoke)

MKT - 8/10 (Cyber Smoke)

MK4 - 6/10 (Liu Kang)

MKDA - 7/10 (Kung Lao)

MKD - 8/10 (Liu Kang)

I used to invest a lot more time into MK so I was pretty good on the home systems. I was very very good at MK2 and 3. I'm pretty much average when it comes to DA or Deception.

Good replies guys, once this thread dies I'll add up the scores and see which game people are best at (or they think they're best atgrin).

I was thinkin something else, when writing ur response add who u think your best ever character is / was, and if you already responded go back and edit it in if u can, it would be helpful. I'll do the same survey thing with those results too...

In UMK3 my best characters are Human Smoke, Ermac, Kabal, Sindel, Kung Lao, and Nightwolf.

I'd love to play you guys, but I never see anyone hosting gamessad

I did get to play Dreemer just the other night and we had some really fun gamessmile He beat me for the majority, but most of the matches were close, and very exciting.

BustaUppa is the only other mko'er I've played, and those matches were lots of fun too, but that was a long time agosad

I have yet to get into a groove of playing since the quality is so bad any of the times that I am awake. I want to play UMK3 but once the lag is really noticeable it just isn't the same game any more. And I don't like what it becomes.

In order to get into a groove with UMK3 online during peak times I have get into super prediction mode, otherwise, normal prediction mode I use playing normally works late at night, it's pretty much like playing offline if you have a good server for both people with occassional stuttering. Anyone who wants to get a game on I guess just IM me and if I'm not at work or out we can play. My AIM SN is TakerECW.

UMK3 6/10 - Fav Character is tough.

I have long been a fan of Sindel. At the same time I recognize the deadliness of the much stronger characters and I think I do better with them because of that. But, I also recently began to enjoy using Shang Tsung. So who knows. I'll say Cyrax.

MKII: 8/10 - Everyone except Jax and Baraka (Console/Arcade)
MK3/UMK3/MKT: 9/10 - Cyber Smoke (I won a couple of local arcade tourneys back in the day. I'd like to think I'm pretty damn good with him).(Console/Arcade)
MK4/G: The game sucks/10 (seriously, maybe a 7 with Reiko. I never played much. (Console)
MKDA: 7/10 - Hsu Hao, Scorpion, Shang Tsung (console, evidently)
MKD: 8/10 - Noob-Smoke (ditto)
