I believe that was one of my contributions. One night I was playing with Cyrax's bombs and just thought there was an opening to do something cool with them.

Oh my bad that is really cool dreemernj i would of never thought of anything like that. Its amazing all the combos you guys have found this gives umk3 so much more replay value i only wish the 3-d games where this fun.

Me too. But so far the only 3D fighter that lives up to (actually surpasses) the precision and control that I have come to love in UMK3 is VF4.

I'm like 2 years late for this but I gotta comment on this. and if someone else has responded with this same information I appologize.

Their games have alot of bugs in them too, and they do "revisions" as well.
Killer Instinct 1 has the buggiest glitch I've ever seen, against Orchid you can break her ultra and then pull insane combos on her from anywhere on the screen (she doesn't have to be anywhere near you for the hits to register) ok they messed up, never fixed it even though they released multiple versions of the game. surely it wont still be there in part 2, right? wrong, you can do basically the same thing against spinal.
all the characters in all the KI's have 70-100% combos.

on another note
robot smoke has a 100% combo for mkt. I've only managed to pull it off somewhat successfully once. do his normal combo link (jump kick, teleport, hp, lp, lp, spear, hp, hp, lk, hk, lp) then as soon as his combo is finished and his arm is dropping for his combo you can do another teleport and start the whole thing over again. I've only managed to get the teleport to work this way once after the combo so no 100% for me.

I made a typo on the combo, I added 1 too many lp's because when I wrote it originally I double checked it with this huge unauthorized mk3 book I have and added it with out thinking. they had 2 lp's after the teleport and hp making it an 11 hit combo. I have only linked 1 lp, but wasn't able to do even that recently when trying (I don't play 3 style much anymore).

on the other hand I did link his teleport after his 5hit on on the n64 using a mas systems stick. I was so suprised that it worked that I messed up on my spear or any chance of a punch or kick to try to link it further. but the hit did register and count.

I was told about this 100% combo well before '99.

if only I could spend all my time playing MK like the good ol days, I might very well be able to prove this to be true. but since what little time I do have for videogames is spent on mkII I depend on you guys. If I was able to link the teleport after the 5hit using a mas being as rusty as I am at 3 style you guys for sure will be able to do it using your keyboards. quit denying it and actually try it and get it on video, plzkthx.

I will have to set up the N64 and try that out because that sounds totally blockable.

After the autocombo the teleport uppercut actually hits them before they hit the ground?

N64 MKT should be outlawed as a crime against fighting games.

There's a sound effect or two added here and there on some, like the door closing thud at the end of the Babality glitches in Kompletions, I added the Wasteland Graphic to the end of SP3, I added a hit to the end of a Liu Kang combo I never got around to in sp1, fixed a messed up transition in sp2, rerecorded a couple of choppy combos like the 16 hit relaunch combo with Ermac in sp3, and Rain's roundhouse combo in umk3.wmv. I edited the music slightly in the beginning of MPD cause it would mess up for some reason in premiere and never lined up the way I wanted it to, I also fixed the credits MPD for the Morph combos song, I fixed a skip in the credits music for SP1, made Neo's speaking in the beginning of UMK3.wmv a little louder, lots of minor things that annoyed me. I think in the process I might have messed up a thing or two but I don't know yet as I haven't paid full attention to the edits, if I think of other things I'll post them but that's about it.

what did you put on MPD credits for the morph kombos song? the band is MESHUGGAH and the song is SPASM but it has that intro I made from LUX OCCULTA & SYMPHONY X

why wouldn't you include CKT & MKT on the DVD project? CKT has "bad" quality, but I improved that on MKT. also the songs sounds real bad on the wmv version, the original versions were mpeg, and the sounded pretty well...

For the music I just put "Spasm Remix by Meshuggah" to be safe.

The reason I didn't include the MKT combo videos purely because of the quality. They looked terrible full/exported to TV. All the other videos I had easy access to full quality. I actually rerendered all but one video. SP4 gave me problems because of the ppj file being corrupt, but I happened to save that one in much higher quality then the rest as an avi on my computer, I saved all of them as higher quality avis and then made the wmvs, but for the other 6 videos I was able to make the highest quality possible, and Konqrr sent me a 250 meg copy of his MK2 video.

the new Project 64 runs fine MKT for n64, if this is not to much work for you NinjaGrinder you can capture the two mkt combo videos again directly from the emu and the quality will be better.

it's A LOT of work, but I'll definitively gonna try... the only problem is that I SUCK on keyboard, so I'm gonna need a controller or something like that. matt, you're not in a hurry to release the dvd, are you? it would be kool to re-do both videos, since CKT has several editing imperfections and choppy/crappy clips... I have 10 or so NEW kombos, so perhaps I can include 'em in MKT as well...

which version of pj64 do you recomend me, psykosonic? it's at www.pj64.net?
