Yes, I'm aware of that. I'm a member of the G4 forums. My username there is Ngnok/Err. I take it you're a member as well and if so, what is your username over there? I don't agree with that Entertainment Weekly ranking. A Link to the Past was a very good game, but it doesn't deserve to be in the # 1 spot. I would say a game like Donkey Kong Country or Super Mario Bros. fits in the # 1 spot more than A Link to the Past.

I wouldn't have chosen LoZ:LttP, it would have been LoZ on the NES at #1.

Looking back on DKC, it's occured to me that the only thing that really "wow"-ed me about Donkey Kong Country was the graphics and music. Otherwise, in my opinion, it's a somewhat average side-scroller.

Super Mario Bros. 3 would be a much better choice for #1, but again, that's just my opinion.

Does anyone know if the Elder Scrolls games (PC) made top ranking? I would definitely consider them in the top 10 (namely "Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall" with "Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind" close second.) ... no game is quite as expansive (as Daggerfall) and allowing for nearly infinite exploration in a first person, customizable RGP enviroment. I didn't even fool with the main quest until a year or so later after I wanted to see what it was all about; even then I was still exploring, getting rich, and buidling my characters and their establishments (jobs, homes, ranking, public status, possessions, etc.). Timeless games, truly classic!

I saw that top 100 too. I found it was way too biased in favour of Nintendo. That's just my 2c.
