MK1 music
id just like to say mk1 had the best music in all mks IMO,
most people here probably prefer the darker atmospheric feel of mk2, but i just love mk1 and its tournament style music.
I didnt play on the arcades much, so im genereally talking about mk1 on the snes.
how about u guys?

Personally, I like the musics from each and every MK game. They all have at least a few cool ones.

I too really preferred the MK1 musics. I had it for SNES and my friend did for Sega and I always loved how good it sounded on SNES :P I actually had a tape of the SNES music for a while. I actually went back with a friend and compared Genesis, SNES and Arcade MK1 musics because I was explaining how much I liked them back in the day and how good they sounded.

Did the SegaCD version of MK2 actually use audio tracks? None of the SegaCD games I ever saw used audio tracks on the CD, they just used regular old music and it always sounded just as bad as regular Genesis. I remember Rage in the Cage for SegaCD. Its music was worse then SNES's

Yeah Sega CD used CD audio in a lot of games. Sonic CD found itself in my CD player all the time.
