Ever since MK2 Baraka has been my favorite, and hes scorin with super sexy Mileena.

im loving sindel in this game but, i have a few problems w/ her moves in this game.. her scream is just about worthless, they really should have made it a mid hit.. her throw is part awesome part bad.. the awesome part~it looks, well awesome.
the down side~it takes only 10 hit points, she kicks them so far away from her and she recovers so slow from it, so she cant 50/50...

i dont know y they left out her flight move, id trade her scream for a flight move w/ air fire ball any day!!!!

her 2nd stance is a great speed stance...kwan do is 50/50 whore time.. :-
D her 1st style should of had power added to it like jades 1st style,its kinda not worth being in this style..

story~7/10 i dont like the fact she was imprisoned by tanya.. there was no need for her story to have had her imprisoned.. oh well..


as a fighter~ she is low tier, but i take pride in being the best sindel player online, i make her look high tier..

hopefully we get her and kitana in mk7.. as the 2 r my top 2 fav mk characters.. ill be pissed if they kill her off..

i do it randomly. call me crazy but i put a bunch of little papers with MKD character's name on it. put it in a hat and pick it out randomly. so who knows, the next person might be Hotaru. (tomorrow morning, im changing the character)

Kobra, well, hes aint one of my favs and hes aint so much original, but I like his concept story. A martial artist who is annoyed and tries to expe-rience real fighting. Then he slowly slips into a bloodthirsty state, which he cannot escape.

Her name is Hsien-Ko (or Lei Lei). she is from Darkstalkers 2 & 3 and she is awesome!!!! (just look at her fighting stance ).

Well, I don't like Kobra. He's a good fighter and easy to use and master, but other than that, he sucks in my opinion. His looks suit him with the Karate type uniform in his primary costume (he is afterall a practicioner of Shorin Ryu Karate) and his kind of street gangster type look in his alternate costume.

I don't really like his concept or his storyline. To me, he felt pointless and I hope he'll get killed by Kira and never come back.

Personally, I'm not to crazy about Kobra. I'm kinda dissapointed Boon used the blue eyes-blod hair look, one of the things I loved about MK was it's originality. However, I'm very pleased that someone finally put Shorin Ryu in a video game. As a Brown Belt in Shorin-Ryu (I should be a Black Belt by the end of the year) I love to see my style represented, but being the nitpicker that I am, I have some problems with how Boon did it. For one, the Gi Kobra wears is not of Shorin-Ryu, and I dont think it's from KickBoxing either; it looks like it was taken from Tae Kwon Do. Also, they kinda gave Shorin-Ryu a bad rap by saying how undiscipled Kobra was, but to be that level of Black belt he is, (Thind or Fourth, I'm not sure) you'd need to be highly disciplined. So my opinion is that either A. Kobra should die and another character should get Shorin-Ryu, or B. Kobra should get a completely revamped and original look, then he'd be pretty badass

I guess I'm one of the few that likes Kobra. I don't really dig his first costume that much, but his alt. rocks! :) I like that he has kickboxing and the kali sticks (my fav weapon in DA), and his specials are unique for him, except for the fireballs, but I suppose everyone has to have a fireball (Kira, Dairou). His fatalities, ehh... could have been better, but other than that I think he's a good character and with a little improving could be a great one. Look at what Midway did with all the classic characters in Deception.

Reasonable story, a pschopath does suit the black dragon.
However I want kiras story to come true and for kobra to never be seen again, along with his horrible 80's hair.

Kobra undiscliplines -well, he did focus his work on shorin ryu, but his behavior was the main problem. Whenever there was something worth learning Kobra was eager to submit himself. But other than that, he was pretty unchained.

About Kobra:

The blue eyes-blonde hair is awesome. Think of it, it is a groteque versionof a psychopathic Ken Masters. I think for a one game filler hes one of the best. Better than Sheeva and Stryker by far.

I admitt, Kobra is a decent character. at least he's a better filler then Dairou and Darrius .

Kobra is just another Black Dragon character he resembles a mix of Steve and Jin from Tekken and Ken Masters however for a filler he is very good 6/10

I like Kobra.He is his own character and he is a lot different from all the others. HIs look is OK and his moves are OK, and his fatalities are somewhat OK...overall, I would give him a 8/10

Kobra is a typical one game storyline character. Unlike the others like Sheeva and Reiko, his story is far more complex and emotional. Just think, a psychopath in an MK game, awesome, no?

Dairou is god, not just a filler. Big shame Midway gave him only a morsel of the story. Can we have Spongebob Squarepants as the next fighter in the magical-random-select hat?

Well Hotaru was a suprise for me when I first saw MKD. remeber MK1-3? It was kinda weird that an oriental fighting game indeed lacked traditional japanese fighters. And here we have him now: the samurai rubber suit and armor is awesome, alongside with the ripped apart infantry flags on his back. Plus a weapon of choice, the naginata.

His story is also interesting, and having him as an order freak is just a great idea for kkeping out of that concept, that the good guys never kill someone. (remember MK1? nobody got killed from the main 7 except Sub-Zero, and he fell becouse of Scorpion)

Dairou as a stalker kinda reminded me of the two-ninjas feud with each other, but thats OK, their storyline will turn out differently.

I like Hotaru. Sure, he may be a bit of a jackass due to being an order freak, but his storyline is interesting, because he sides with a bad guy (Onaga) in hopes that the he'll bring order. Hotaru isn't concerned with the consequences or the means to get there. He's just concerned about having order. I really like his look with the whole Samurai thing going on.

Fighting wise, he's rather slow and rigid. Ba Shan Fan had short combos and was definitely slow and rigid. Pi Gua suits him, because it's a fighting style designed for armor wearing people like guards and such, but they took out the fluidity it had in MK: DA. Pi Gua is supposed to be very soft and fluid. They still have the concept of the moves correct with the chopping and such and no punching. However, not only did they take away its fluidity, but they also took away it's backdash cancel advantage which really annoyed me. His special moves are cool though I wish he had more than 2 special moves...

His fatalities are alright. Overall, I think he's pretty cool.

See I think his simplicity his an asset when playing him. He's just a basic no frills character that has some good juggles that can be used. Iikr you said, his style fits his appearance since he's wearing armour which restricts him from using complex movments. It actually to the benefit of the player to use him cause they won't have to memorize long combos.

I think an added special or two would have made him a lot stronger, but his simple play is good enough to overcome other characters.

This guy needs some definite work. I like to let loose with a bit of fury and this guy just doesn't cut it. His special moves are so-so. There is potential if you're a juggler which is probably the only thing I like about him but his whole style is just so linear.

Not a bad costume, except for those retarded and intrusive flags he's got mounted on his back.

Story-wise... he almost seems as if he shouldn't even be a fighter in the game. Sure he's the "Order-freak" but I just don't see him coming back in future games.

I give him an overall 4 out of 10.
