MKDA vs. Soul Calibur

MKDA is my favorite fighter. Soul Calibur is right on its ass.
My girlfriend said she would like to see a crossover between the two. I told her she rocked, then i started thinking.
Which characters from the two games would you like to see carried over to each other, and in what capacity?
Personally, i would like to see the following:
Astaroth in MKDA. His character seems to fit the ghastly otherworldyness of MK, and i think he would be great as the lieutenant to the dragon king. That, or the next level of Oni development of Drahmin.
I'd also like to see Kung lao as one of the survivors of Kilik's massacred temple. I picture him as on a mission to save kilik, as he thinks him to be completely evil.
Overall, i see the stories overlapping by some sort of portal linking the two realms, and shang tsung/quan chi accidently tapping into the soul-power of the soul edge. Then there being a battle for the souls between the soul edge and Tsung/Chi.
How do you think the characters and story could intertwine?

Maybe this should have been in the General Discussion but then again, I'm not sure. Anyway, I need to play more of the Soul Calibur games and I need to know more about the storyline to see if they would fit together.

Yeah Baraka would tear his ass open.

What a stupid idea...
Soul Calibur is a weapon based fighting game and MKDA is a martial arts fighting game with a little bit of weapons combat... the two games are not even compatible.

But I thought that SC had a bit more than weapon based moves. I think that the fighting can become compatible. It's just that the fighting systems from both MKDA and SC would have be adjusted.

They would just have to find out whats best for it. Take a look at Capcom vs SNK 2 EO or Marvel vs Capcom for an example.
Nikodemus, you need to chill out. I asked people what they thought about A RESURECTED TOOL OF THE GODS IN THE FORM OF A 2 TON AXE WEILDING MONSTER appearing in a GAME and facing off against NINJA's who SHOOT ICE. Have i made my point?
To everyone else, sorry about all the caps.
Seriously though.
****Can't compare? how can you compare baraka to voldo? baraka first appeared in a 2D game, and voldo in 3D!! You can't compare!! You can't compare!!!!*****
ok I'm done.

Three people in soul calibur have "A" punch attack. Yah thats a lot of hand to hand combat going on...both engines would have to be rebuilt from the ground up not "adjusted"
Edit: No dope you haven't made your point. I don't wanna see Soul Calibur's weapon wielding characters vs the mystical characters of MK shooting fireballs and ice all over the place. No one in soul calibur other then NGC's Link has a projectile attack.

Hey! You asked for what we thought and i thought that so now don't be complaining about the answers to your stupid thread and piss off!!
you are all wrong. It would be awesome to see characters from the two games face off. You are all wrong. See, in my fantasy question, what type of fighting game they are doesn't mattter, framerates don't matter, and compatability don't matter. You guys aren't compatible with girls, but you still imagine yourselves with them. So this is no different.

Spawn also has a projectile. I used to love SC back when I had no life and could just play games all day. But now I just concentrate on MK in my free time. Ok that was way off topic. Uhh as far as character vs character, I'll just take the MK gang in every match
. Though I still have love for SC, I just don't have the time anymore to play it to it's full potential. I can't play fighting games unless I devote myself to them.

Yeah Spawn is in the XBOX version of Soul Calibur 2. And Spawn is a hellspawn like Scorpion. So they can crossover too. But nowadays Spawn has become the ruler of hell and he has so many powers so he would rip Scorpion up.

Acctually his name is Aeon. If you knew anything about Soul Calbur that might help...

not if they were in hell. while he is their, his powers increase. quan chi has the amulet, and his powers were useless aginst scorpion.

Yeah but still Spawn has too mny powers in and out of hell. He has so many powers the comic isn't even fun enough to read anymore. And plus correct me if I'm wrong but is Scorpion as powerful in MKDA as he was when he was chasing Quan Chi around in hell? If so then he certaintly nowhere near Spawns game. Like did he come out of hell just as powerful? But anyway yeah the amulet may have been useless in hell but Spawn is a ruler of hell though and he uses his powers in hell all the time. So that doesn't work for Spawn. Like I said, Spawn has so many powers that there isn't even a situation where Scorpion would beat Spawn. But then again knowing Spawns character, He would fight Scorpion straight up without powers or magic until Scorpion used powers first.
Nikodemus,
You are a goon. Lizardman's name is in fact, lizardman. I used to own a dreamcast, and on this dreamcast i would play a game. This game had written on it, Soul Calibur (pronounced Soul Calibur) and in this game, there were characters you could choose to play or "fight" as. On the characters had a tail, a sword, and a shield. the name that appeared on the screen when you chose to play as this character was/is Lizardman (pronounced "Lizardman").
What this means is that, Reptile's name is Reptile. and Lizardman's name is Lizardman. If you want to get gay about it, we can call you what your mother first called you, "damn it, i should have used that coat hanger when i had the chance" But no, we call you nikodemus.
Chill the fuck out and enjoy my posts.

Yah I spelled Soul Calibur wrong that was a typo thanks for pointing it out like it makes you the better person, anyway Lizardman's real name before he was taken by the dark seed was Aeon. He was a warrior of the gods like Sophitia. We all know Ivy's real name is Isabella but it doesn't say Isabella Valentine wins when she defeats someone does it? Didn't think so.
