On a scale of 1-10 what do you rate MKDA's graphics.
For me i give it a 9.5/10 because there are very small parts i didnt like such as on scorpions alternate costume in the game the flames seem kinda weird. what about yall?

I agree, I would give it something high. Maybe a 9 or 9.5.
The only problem is that sometimes a characters clothing will pass right through their body, or characters even sometimes do this with other fighters. But MKDA had its own original feel graphically, and I personally thought it was very good. Though... they could have made Blaze look a little better...

yeah reall the only reason i give 9.5 out of 10 is because of the flames. I dont know much about gaming graphics but i suppose they could do lil bit better on the flames. Thats the only reason tho. Everything else is good.

I give them a 9.5... Because I agree about the fire on Scorpion's skull on his alternate costume.

10 easily. Has a very crisp feel to it and keeps the MK feel going. Though my Xbox, component cables, and 24" HDTV flat screen tv might something to do with that

Characters look like have a stick up their butts. The game pushes the limits of the PS2, but left much to be desired for GC and XBox owners. They could have a better camera too. And the look is a little too dark(as in lack of brightness) for my tastes.

This is a fighting game, there isnt much that needs to be going on, and so, the graphics should be very good. This is very similar to a game like Final Fantasy. On the PS2 you can push the limits of the graphics without any slowdown because there really isnt much going on.

Hmmm well personally, I thought the graphics were great. I would have to rate the graphics oh..about 9 - 9.5 out of 10. They were really good but I do see the sacrifices that were made. Still, I was very impressed and I hope they enhance the graphics even more for MK6.
I Give It A 9.5 Because Scorpion's flames (how Do u start a fourm

an 8. Characters look cartoony and overall can have more detail. Take RE Remake for instance... very good graphics.
On a scale from 1-10 I would have to give the MKDA graphics a 8.5. I believe the MK technology has came along way. But what game production agency hasn't. I believe for MKDA to get a 10 from me they would have to out do the rest of the gaming industry. I think that if they want to get ahead in this rat race they have to be up for the biggest challenge of all.... and that is to out do them selves and the rest of the industry.
I give the graphics a 7.5
point are lost with me in the area of vivid colors. I have mentioned this before but look at the member who has the three subzeros, the mk2 subzero has the vivid colors and looks more life like. MKDA graphics are clear and crisp but alot of the fighters life likeness taken is away mostly by the color of skin, and some polygons used on some characters.

Needless to say, MKDA has the "best" graphics in the series so far. For some nostaligic reason, mk2's look just won't ever let me down though.
I'd give MKDA's graphics an 8. Someone mentioned it before, and to get a 10, or 9.5, it would have look superior to all other fighting games, and also stand heel to heel with any other game, regardless of genre. I don't think it does this. Yes, mkda is a "10" if mk4 was an "8" or "9". Sometimes the characters look weak after a test your sight victory, and like suasage links when rolling backwards against the wall while falling victim to a juggling combo.

I agree to those parts. But as overlooked, The fatality graphics on some are plain ungraphical and kinda blindly given. Take scorpions for example you notices he has a reflection to the ground on most levels. Now on his fatality look at the ground when he does his spear.....no reflection. Thats about it though for me.

On the PS2, since that's the only one I've played, I give it an 8.

7, at best.
"stylisticly" it is very good; mood, contrast, color balance, etc. However; there are some MAJOR issues with some of the modeling. A lot of the envelopes are whacked. Quite simply, some of the character models are real messy, especially the females, around the thighs and croch. A lot of other games have these types of probs, but for some reason it really stands out in DA.
And Li looks like a horse, but that's another issue.

Well it's no Dead or Alive 3 or anything but they made the game in a year and a half. I'm just comparing the graphics to old MK's, the amount of time they had, and what's being done on screen. I think they balanced the game just fine with the amount of time they had and graphics are nothing to cringe at.
