I don't care if it counts as knives or f*ckin swords...there called Butterfly Swords or d*mn Butterfly Knives...my only concern was the fact that it linked to a switchblade and not the Butterfly Swords and he definetly was not weilding a switchblade. Anyway I still say they are Short Swords and not Knives. And by Dao I was refering to the broadsword, not w/e meaning the word has.

immortalkombat: I know what you're talking about. Like Chrome said, Pak Mei, Bak Mei, Bai Mei, and Pai Mei are just different spellings of the same name. I don't necessarily mean that Pai Mei Quan has Tiger techniques or anything but the attributes. Basically, it's like how Tong Bei Quan has the characteristics of the White Ape but not actual techniques.

Regarding the whole betrayal thing, well, this guy over this one place I go to says otherwise:

Chrome: Dao refers to some kind of saber (e.g. Autumn Dao). Jian refers to more of a straight sword (e.g. Tai Chi Jian).

Either way, I don't like the idea of Kano using the weapons he had in MKDA unless he uses them differently than he did in that game.
