I noticed something I had never noticed before in the game. At the Main Menu I went to the Kontents section, at which time I noticed what I can make out to be an: X and O with an X in it on the wall in the bricks above the fire. I hit that combonation of buttons and went into the Areana section and the Portal Areana is now not in there. I am not sure what to make of this and it could be nothing, but I will keep looking for something new. After I came out of the Areana section the wall is no longer lighted or visible. If I go to the Main Menu and go back to Kontents the wall is lighted again. I think this could be some kind of clue like saying "The writing is on the wall."

I first tried it with the button combination X, Y, X (no circle button on the GC manette), went into the Arena menu and came back out, and that wall wasn't lit anymore, despite the fire was still there. Then I tried it again, this time not pressing any button combination, and when I exited the Arena menu, the wall wasn't lit again. I think it's just a glitch.

Can you guys see what looks like an X and O with an X on the wall with the other systems? I have PS2 and those buttons fit for what I can see on the wall. Also, I noticed that not only is the Portal stage missing; also the Lin Kuei Temple is not in my Arenas Kontents anymore. What I did was line my dragon select with Arenas and hit X, O, X.
I tried X, X + O also dont know which one did it.
Again this could be nothing or it could be everything!! It would seem to fit with the hint "Try buttons in all kinds of places" though.

For playstain, X=3 and O=4 if that helps.

i tried this and now everytime i go to kontents it starts out lighting up on the wall, then once i go to characters or w,e it's dark on that wall.

I tried the code on the xbox version but nothing happened. I still have all of my stages including the portal stage.

Have you tried repeating this code until all of your arenas are gone?

Unfortantly the only way I discovered any of this is because my friend deleted my memory card on accident a few months ago. I had to start all over from the beganning. At the time of the first post I hadn't opened both portal stories from the Koffens (I had Koffen MN left to open when this dissapearing act happened from X,O,X) I have since opened it and now The Portal is back in the Arenas but The Lin Qui Ice Palace or however you spell it is still missing. ??? I wonder what this X,O,X clue is? Please if you do see it on the wall please tell me so I know I am not crazy! smile

Actually, I also did the X,O,X and/or X,X+O in all of the stages in the Arenas Kontents Section twice. The second is when I noticed my Lin Kui Palace was gone. I will do it again in another stage in the Arenas Section, and see if anything else happens. I am wondering if this somehow might load a stage for something specific, not sure what, or if this is just a glitch. I just hope that we are close to solving the "try buttons in all sorts of places" clue. If anything, we may have the button combos to use, now if we can find out the spot to use them.

Do you have the game? It's very easy to see the X and O on the wall.

It's right above the fire on the left side of the screen when you go to the kontent section.

It's embossed on the wall.

Yes I do. I keep forgetting about it when I get home from work.

I have been playing Tiger Woods 2004. It's is like Golf on Crack. They have taken elements from D&D and combined them with Professional Golf. You have attributes you can Enhance with money. Buy Apparal, equipment, etc to make your character better. It is just like buying weapons and Armor. You even level up and can get sponsorships.

Plus it has other games to play rather than just plain golf. Speed golf is neat.

Anyway, I digrees.

no disrespect or anything but i cant believe that this is just now coming out!!! i noticed the imprints on the wall the day i got the game which was the day after it was released...

Tiger Woods is hard-mf'in-core!!!!! I love that game..


Anyways...this is odd...perhaps just a lil thing they snuck in, an inside joke if u will?...
