I guess you could say MK1 got me into MK enough to not be able to wait for MKII, and MKII kept my interest for me to not be able to wait for MK3, and then MK3 made me instantly want UMK3. After that MK4 pretty much destroyed all hope of the series continuing to get better. By the time MKDA came out I was so much into gameplay that I completely looked at the games beyond the blood, gore, and gimmick. I must say though, MK1 on Genesis almost made me never play MK again after that day until I decided to rent it for SNES.

i was introduced to mk1 on the genesis and loved it scorpions fatality is what really sold it to me, although it was a rental of my mates later another mate brought mk2 round i loved it. It was the first game i got for my snes. so mk2 for me, i had a hard time of at first though being in a house of rabid streetfighter fans. now where all rabid streetfighter and mortal kombat fans. they're both just etched into my childhood now.

The first, I played it when I was so young, then I cept playing... But then it stoped.
then i got back into it and got Deception. I even got some freiinds addicted in school.
so the answer is the first.
