i had never even heard of it until deception then i got into the series

MK1 4ever!!

I bought both MK1 and MK2 at the same time as they were the only two MK games out at the time. I loved them both and ever since was hooked on to the series. So it was both really.

MK2

MK1.

When i was three(suprisingly), MK Trilogy just came out, my brother showed me MK1, told me the story, fatalities, levels, then he showed me MK2.I could do a good amount of special moves,and could do scorpions fatalities.I loved playing it, next week he bought me trilogy.And my other two brothers bought Sub-Zero mytholigies. Those three got me into the series. My parents are awesome for letting me play games like that at a young age. Istill am, my Mom says im old enough to know not to try to kill someone because i did in a video game.

MK1/2 on the SNES at my cousins house, then the films aswell!

From the beggining: MK1 for super nintendo!

The first Mortal Kombat.

MK1 for Genesis.

MK2 for Sega Genisis.

mk1-mk4 in arcades they were so awsome i played mk1 in the arcades when i was 5 and beat my cousin who had it for the super nintendo i was so shocked my cousin started to cry.lol

My Amiga MK1, though I suppose I first liked it the one time I played it in the arcade, which led me to get the Amiga one.

MK2, cause everyone at school was talking about it. then i got mk4 for pc, and now im playing MK3 for xbox

I got MK3 when I was 3 or 4, and played it throughout my childhood. But I guess the one that made me the fan I am now is MKDA.

MK1 and 2. Mk1 had the Japanese mythology thing, mk2 had the great BGs, fatalities, and it was in outworld. Plus, that's where Noob, Smoke, Jade, Baraka, Shao kahn, and Kintaro came.

i had heard of MK from a early age and played MK2 at an arcade when i was small. i was readin through the TV guide Game reviews when MK:DA was mentioned as a new release. I got it at christmas and was hooked so i then got MKD, MKSM and MKT and the TV series MK:DOTR and MKC until i knew the story real well and was an addict, i then got MK:TE for the gameboy advance and here i am now and I WANT ARMAGEDDON! i sound greedy...i could try i would weally wike Armageddon pwease. But yeah. That's the story of how i got into MK

Still played, still loved! I still beat it once in a while and I ́ll always like this game! Even though some people tend to disagree with it and try to offend the ones who like the old games with stupid reasons!

MK1 made me like it, MK2 confirmed my passion!

MKT.......it had more characters than the games before so i guess it was a good game to start out in

I played the crap out of it when I was a kid. and then MK2 came out in the arcades. I remember going to a skating rink with one of my friends, we were both hardcore mk1 fans, and he told me "they got mortal kombat II here!" I thought he was kidding, at the time I had no idea anything other than MK1 existed. Then I saw the machine, I was in awe,(he wasnt joking! lol) people were swarming the machine, I only got to play it one time on that day.

I was already obsessed with MK1, but mk2 bruaght me even more into the mortal kombat thing. Been a hard core fan ever since.

MK2 for the GEN, I noticed ALOT of people had this game on this system back in the day...it was a pretty crappy port compared to the snes version IMO so..I wonder why so many ppl had that version? I will never know...
