MK1, Amiga version. http://www.mobygames.com/game/mortal-kombat/cover-art/gameCoverId,43162/

Still remember taking it up to the counter (I was 8?), reading the little red sticker "15" and being so happy the woman at the desk didn't pick up on it.

The first I played was MK1 and I used to rent it for Genesis.

But the first I bought was MK2, later I got MK1 as a gift from my uncle. Both for the genesis, and later I got MK3 and UMK3!

MK1 for the snes. Back when I was a kid, I always beleived there was a supersecret blood code for the snes MK1 that acclaim or nintendo didnt want anyone to know about. even heard rumors about it. THen MK2 came out for the snes, and I didnt care anymore; finaly blood on the snes!

Long before I actually owned an MK game, I had my dad rent MKII for Gameboy, lol. That game is all sorts of terrible, but Gameboy was the only gaming system I had at the time, so I played the thing to death during the few short days I had it.

But just over a year later I would own the PC version of MK3, quite possibly the finest home port of a MK game ever made!

Mortal Kombat 1 for the Sega. I play it to death lol.

Now that I have the PS2 bouns disk of MK1 for MKD. I notice the computer was a bit harder. Most note worty is Goro. I always thought Goro suck lol. In fighting. Goro was pretty easy. I had respect for Goro in the Arcades though. Because over all the game was harder than the home ports.

I than got MK3 and UMK3, and at LONG last MK2 lol.

To above post ^^^^ Goro is really easy in any version. Just use Sub-Zero. Freeze him and do uppercut. Freeze him again as his gets up before he can do any thing and uppercut him. Just do that over and over. I get flawless victories on him often.

Anyways, first MK I had owned is MK2 on SNES. Probably would of been MK1 on SNES, but I'd just play that at my babysitters all the time just about every day. I started playing MK when I was 4 back when MK1 came out by the way.....

I don't know what happened to my SNES or my games for it. (Only had MK2, MK3, UMK3, and Primal Rage.) Seemed to dissapear after I got a N64.... Now I got MK1 from MKD PP and MK2 on MKSM and will have UMK3 with MKA PE soon. Also have MK1-UMK3 roms on my PC. Plan on getting UMK3 on Xbox 360 when it comes out.
