that and they can't use right. He requires patience. I am glad someone else sees my point. So many of the new character people don't give enough credit to.

I agree. Mavado is really good.

Yes...yes we are....Kabal owned...and always will....he really needs to be in the next MK...Mavado is decent, and I'd like to see them both in there, but if they had/have to choose just one of them, I hope it's Kabal...

Thats fine, but i am mostly talking about the people who don't know how to use and say he sucks.

I'm not taking anything away from Mavado...I think he's great if you can use him, same for everyone in the game...even the dumbest (insert farting puking fat slob drunk here) is good if you know how to use them. Mavado and Drahim are excellent, Drahim is my dog. If you play enough you can bring out the best in every fighter.

Mavado sucks. I can play him fairly well and I know this. He's arguably the worst mid tier character along with Kano. He's mad fun though.

Both Kano and Mavado are bad. I mean they aren't totally bad, but below decent.

He's garbage... his special moves are for the most part useless, his combo are not that great nor is his jugle potential. He is just a weak character. I wasted a little time getting to know him (thought he could be as cool as Kabal cause he had the hook swords) He just isn't good...

I think Mavado is a great character. Not my favorite, but still pretty good. He would have looked better if they gave him that Steven Segal hairstyle before they changed his look towards the release of the game, he would have looked more like an assassin. But whatever he's still good.

Well, Movado (and other "low tier" characters) can be good if you abuse what he has. Backdash cancel as much as possible out of his first stance and play a little jabbing game.

His one big drawback is his SLOW ASS recovery time. He would contend a little better if he just didn't stand there so damn long after attacking.

I never use f,f+? I don't even know the right button (4?) but his d,u+2 is ok because it has no recovery time and can open up some mix-ups.

His second stance is all about that killer branch combo. Again, BDC a lot and throw in low attacks. Then in HookSwords abuse 3 when you're up close, and SM (sweep) is pretty decent too. 2,4,4,b+3 Beeyotch!

B+3 in hookswords is possibly my favorite attack in the game.

Yeah, you don't want to relay on the attack. Not only like you said the recovery is slow, it is too pradictable. I like the one were he sides steps with the cords and then do sick juggles with his longfist.

The only trouble i have with is his wingchung style. Anyone want to give me advise( I know most of you are good with almost every character)?

I wasn't too crazy with the hairstyle. If they had it, they should have it as an alternate outfit without his coat. The coat looked huge and made him seem tiny.
