I don't hate him. I was never a huge Stryker fan but he was damn good to play as! Guns, bombs, and batons.
Like I said before I think some ppl may not like him because he is kind of an average guy. He is a cop (hey I am not a big fan of them but there are a lot of them), he is an American, a blonde hair kind of scruffy guy. I just think ppl like the whole chinesse clans or gangs or movie stars. I don't know thats just my 2 cents.

Stryker is Cool, I Love The "Riot Gun", it's a Good Character to Me.

One Thing I don't get, why is People out there saying that "Nitewolf is Gay"; some People around do Hate Native American People... ?

I mean, maybe Nitewolf is an Average Character, but The Indian Idea is Cool, Just like Thunder Hawk.

i never hated him, but i think most ppl dislike him because he is boring. He is basicly the only character in the game with out any super natural abilities, he just has a lot of weapons, the main reason ppl didnt like Jax's gun in mk i think. It ventures to far from the other characters, without venturing far at all.

Sandspider has a good point, he was just a plain old 'mortal'..but so was Sonya...but she was in since the original...I hate him cause he looks like a goof, and the computer cheeses the shit outta him

I hate his character. Its so plain, boring, goofy looking. He looks like White Trash to me. As a player though he is really really deadly and I love that. He is the only character without any supernatural moves I believe, so its to be expected that he seems more plain then the others. But, oh well. He still kicks people's asses.

Actually, Sonya could throw magic rings, toxic mist, fire kisses and turn into a giant eagle. She has some "magic" things going on.

And Stryker ACTUALLY turned into a DINOSAUR. There goes at least one supernatural ability.

I don't hate him. In fact he's one of my all time favorite characters. His juggling(especially once he got the gun) are so entertaining. I find him to be the most fun character to use in the MK3 games.

As for his appearance, I don't like or dislike it. It's just ok. The idea of a cop fits in well with the post apocolypic theme of MK3 but the design they went with is pretty dorky. He just doesn't look very cool.

Well for one thing it's been deeply instilled in me (being a teenager and a fan of punk rock and heavy metal) to dislike cops (heh I remember one show I went to, the cops made us close down early, leading to the kids chanting "fuck cops") even though I know that's not fair; after all they're out there every day risking their lives to make society safe (although some are corrupt, racist, etc).

Anyway, beyond that he just seems like such a useless character. He doesn't add anything to the story, nor does he have a cool look.

he's a great fighter in mk3. but that only gets him so far. the whole cop thing is lame.

he was great for mk3..cause that game called for characters from all over. but he is no longer needed.

i just dont like stryker, i never liked him and i never will, he is just so useless, and im glad he is dead

yeah stryker looks boring. but he's a great fighter. same for nightwolf. though i like nightwolf's look.

He was one of the easiest people to use in MK3 and his moves and combos were really effective... Just didn't make much sense, you have a guy that steals peoples souls, a witch type lady that can float... and then a guy with grenades and guns... I don't play as him much because his APPEAL isn't very good, when I'm looking at the character select screen, I see a dude with a red eye, guy with a scar going down his face, guy wearing some sort of gas mask... and then a guy with a hat. A guy with a hat? Where does he fit in? He isn't appealing at all, almost everyone else has more robust storylines that you hear fit into tiny spaces and then this guy you hear about thats almost just tossed in.

I may be wrong about the storyline part, I don't pay attention to stories... but it's almost a fact that he has the least appeal.

I don't like Stryker because he just wasn't a supernatural dude like I'm used to. Though his gun was pretty cool.

However, I DID like him in Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm. He was pretty funny.

Um, no. Though in the MK2 comic book, when Shang Tsung and his thugs assulted Cage's studio, Jax was already there, so while he was fighting Kintaro, Mileena did her fatality (where she sucks you up and spits out your bones) to Jax's partner Beran. I think that's what his partner's name was.

I don't overly hate him. He was fun to play as. As some have said, his moves were good and annyoing. His story however, along with his look was incredibly weak. He's one of many characters who had potential but their stories let them down dramatically.

Stryker is a good fighter-- with a new look and a more purposeful storyline he could very well be a fan favorite if he returned to MK6.

Stryker is one of the best characters to play as. But he looks like a dumbass.

Look, Stryker's moves were ok, but he just felt too "normal" to play with. To me, playing with Stryker was like playing with Dan from Street Fighter. Nuff said.

I like Stryker, i have no problem with him, he dont look like the cool bruce style cop, but i like the idea that a "normal" guy can enter the MK Tournament.

His moves are nice, but his Gun looks a little bit goofy.

I more dislike Nightwolf, not because he is a indianer (lol dont know the english word)

But he looks to much like a rockstar that uses that indianer outfit for a promotion tour lol! =)

I mean, look at Chief Thunder from KI, thats some cool guy =)
