Why does everyone hate Hsu Hao so much??

His story fit very well, and as a fighter he was pretty good, not the best by far, but he can hold his own. The only thing I can think of is that he died at the end.
The guy 'looked' like a fag he was a good fighter i give him that by he should get new moves with his sun and moon(kano rip off) and he should get better fighting styles

I think he was ok. Pretty good fighter, although the Sun Moon style should have been unique. His look is ok to me. Nutin special, but i like his artificial heart....

let me get this straight the only reason u dont like him is because of the way he looks?? interesting u know i thought Scorpion looked Stupid but i dont use him because of it. well i thought he was an okay character nothing great but none the less good.

well, i never liked him, he was revitively ugly... *just noticed how that sounded coming from me* ok enough of the pot calling the kettle black now, ok um, i hate hsu hao because, i just dont like him, its like scorpion, both of them i hate for reasons unknown, though scorpion i hate because he sucks and he has love that he does not deserve, hsu hao, sucks because his moves were like a cross between butterfly/muay thai/judo/sambo/ninjistu and a bunch of others, though i did like the kahn klap, the cyrus stomp and his fatality especially against kitana or shang tsung, does put a smile on my face, so in other words, i hate scorpion and hsu hao is so so (yes i know this thread has nothignt o do with scorpion... but oh well)

The same reason why I never liked reptile. Hsu Hao is nothing but a little hoe, I mean all he does is follow orders from his master(Mavado) He has no mind of his own, he just does whatever. To me that isn't interesting. I hope Jax's ending comes true in MK: DA so he can pull Hsu Hao heart out.

Hsu hao was insanely ugly, his moves were pathetic, his storyline was subpar at best, and he just sux in general. His Fatality is his only pro, and his cons are numerous.... VERY numerous.

Of the mid-bosses you just named, I found that Kintaro was the hardest to fight.

On topic, I thought that he was cool, especially his fatality; but with his hat, he looked like a limo driver.

Hsu Hao looked like a homoerotic Street Fighter character to me. wink

His moves sucked in my opinion. His design was horrible too. His story line wasn't too bad, I thought the artifical heart thing was pretty sweet actually.

I like Hsu Hao. Although his first costume is crap, his alternate is cool. He had good moves and his fatality is awesome.

I was just about to post that, if you don't like his hat(I hate his hat too) pick is alt costume.

It's nice to see that not everyone hates Hsu Hao. I'll actually miss him in MKD, it seems pointless to introduce a character only to kill him in the same game.

I can see where your going. Even though i like the old school characters, I have been becoming a fan of the underdog characters. No one gives the new characters a chance. Like mk4 for example, only Quin Chi returns. wtf? I really do hope to see some of the mkda characters though( not just 1 or 2 of them).
