The character roster is a huge deciding point, that and the new gameplay mechanics.

The only why I'll buy it for sure is if Johnny Cage's in it. If not, I'll have to really like the rest of the roster. I don't have as much disposable income as I used to....

Its way too early to tell. I want to know more of the roster, and what the gameplay mechanics are going to be like. I'd like to see some more in game videos, and they will probably release a demo before the game comes out.
