I think each character should have introduction page with their bio on it, follow by their basic moves, then combos, then special moves, then fatalities (for Sub-Zero/Scorpion only), then finally their ending. Contents Concept (correspounding order) - Cover - Title page - Table of Contents Contents (including character names) - The Story - Game Features/Basics - Online Setup - The Arenas - Kombatants (alphabetical order) - Konquest (includes relics and elder god parts) - Kreate - A - Fighter - Kreate - A -Fatality - The Krypt (Krypt codes included) - Credits - Back Cover If you think theres something that should be added to this, let me know.

2007, I was planning something very similar to that.

1st Page - Intro to Character with Render
Second - Special Moves and Combos
Third - Fatalities, Alt Costume, Ending

However we haven't found anyone to get good, HQ screens yet.

My tag on AIM is the same as the one on this site, but you have to be on my buddy list to chat with me... I'll go now and add you guys.

Fair warning though: My gf occassionally uses my comp and doesn't like to see tags she doesn't recognize on my buddy list (she has a complex, I guess) so if I randomly sign on and off, that's why smile.

I'm sure guys like mkflegend, hjs-Q, Versatile and others would be all over this. I'll get the word out.

An idea just hit me.

When we do sections on each character, I think it would save time to just rip their VS render. Of course we'll still have the fan art, though.

Well, I'd imagine we'd have all the VS renders as well as the other renders. I took this into account, trust me.

Hmmm, I was also thinking for the strategies for each character, we could have any of the following:

- Breakdown of their two styles
- Breakdown of Special Moves, Style Branch, Throw, etc.
- Usefulness of Air Kombat with the character in question
- Pick like 5 or 10 moves/combos which are most useful in Kombat
- Best way of playing the character (i.e. Turtle, Projectile Spam, Aggressive, Air, Punish, etc.)
- Rate the character from 1-10 on categories like Speed, Priority, Specials, Safety, Air Kombat, Strength, Weapon Stance, etc.
- How to play as and how to play against the character
- How to beat Blaze with each character

I'm sure I'll think of more.

I was thinking of keeping it to 4 pages per character. This way it comes out to 240 plus pages of in depth strategies. I think the concept art and fan art will use up a good 10-20 pages as well, which should help. I think we could use at least one of each character. For the characters who do not have full body renders, we could use colored art done by bleed, or Aculeus perhaps.

I'll do the table of contents page once every other page is complete.

I have one page neary done, it's has a Scorpion render on it. All it needs is a biography. Any one know where I can get one

I'm thinking about putting Scorpion's Vs pose on it but I am not sure yet.

OK, well it could look something like this:

Page 1- Render, Name, Bio, Ratings, Best Way to Play Character (the latter two can appear in a separate box)

Page 2- Breakdowns of Styles, Air Kombat, Specials, Throw, Style Branch Combo

Page 3- How to play as and against

Page 4- Best moves and combos to use in Kombat

This is a great idea. I've been thinking of somethign similar only more extensive for MK and will probably put up a thread about it, but for now this is cool. I'd probably help with the writing and the strategies. The last bios I wrote were for MKD so it's been awhile.

Chrome - could you help with ranking the characters, and give insight to the Fight styles - I've noticed you're really good with those.

M0tarogod- Could you help with the Konquest walk through, getting relics - where they're at, and getting clear screen shots and renders from the game?

tgrant - Would you mind pitching your ideas with the storyline as well - we need to devy up the work amongst the people here.

Could you guys post your emails - or PM them to me with your AOL/AIM user handles so I can get everyone together this week?
Also, 2007 and Mos3ph - I was thinking more along the lines of this breakdown..
Intro Page (Features Character Render, Bio, and Stats - Including Tier breakdown)
Basic Move Charts/ Simple Combos
Special Moves/ Fatalities/ 3 of their most damaging combos (We'd feature a screen of each.)
MKO rating Online, Playing As, Against ( We'd feature the VS renders here, above or in the section), and an overall character rating. Along with this we'd include their ending, and maybe a render on the side.

It also seems that it's slowed down on MKOutworld...I have maybe 5 writers now?

To Get it printed (This is if you'd like to do it yourself once the Pdf's are done), is the initial 5 dollar charge then .15 per page in color...so if this guide is around 300 pages, it's going to cost a pretty penny.

You can just keep it in a downloadable pdf and if the user wants a hard copy he can have it printed himself. Saves you some money and I'm sure it would be appreciated just as much as a hard copy.
