you know what? a few days ago i opened up a thread about this here game it was closed, im not complaining about it nor am i going to get mad, but i will say this: you people ( it may not be the you who's reading this, but you know who you are if you can identify with this group) are too damn sensitive!i mean come on! ita a video game, all i want to know is how could you rabid fan boys get so damn upset over a videogame! a chunk of plastic, a piece of non existence! it makes me sick to my stomach and back up again to think that i ( and i mean me, not you for those of us who are paying attention) may, in fact interact with you people on a daily bases. its a mortal kombat forum but dammit first and formost its a fourm. a way that people who has an opinon on a certain topic can come on and talk about that topic in a respectful manner, of course. but it is you people ( not all of you, but you know who you are. for a refreshure course, scroll up) who are the one's who can take it if someone doesnt agree or like all the aspects of a VIDEO GAME! Mortal Kombat is 'our' game. we are the one's that make and break it, not them. if that were the case then im pretty sure when THQ made the power rangers game's they would be the hottest selling games on the market today. so what do you ppl do then? you get on here and you pick, and you defend. you defend this hunk of plastic until the very last inch of your gaming controller. i mean i like MK just as much as you all do but is i not possible for one person to disagree with a certain function of the game or can that same person hope that the game will improve on its (many) flaws? why is it that when someone does have an opinion that differs from the norm you ppl always have to go on assault? you wanna assualt me or question my intelligence because i dont like a VIDEO GAME??? what the hell is wrong with you people? dont you fan boys have a life? its ppl like you that make gamers look bad. the fat, lazy, lets not forget sweaty bastards who live in your mom's basement. let me tell you something ( this time im talking to you all!) get a life, go outside, oh and dont forget to bring your gameboys with you. for shame on you people, for shame for being so damn sensitive, and most of all, for shame for all of you taking my right as an american to express my views. now i trust that no doubt that this thread will be closed by one of you immorals i mean immortals, but hey, who cares right? besides you guys shoudlnt get mad at what im saying..... its only a game. right?

Well MK:D looks impressive,I mean if they pull it off it will be the best game ever.You probably will get your wish by the looks of it.

Although this is quite a rant, if I understand what you mean I have to agree. People get really testy on this particular forum. They produce what I consider to be spam in many popular threads, while other more unique ideas are burried. I am not too mad about that cause it is a forum. But a couple of times I have really been snaped at for stupid shit.

I must say I like to discuss MKD with my real MK-fan friends, but not on this forum. It is not a good environment to do so. No offense to the mods or admin who seem to try really hard to make this site enjoyable, it's an up-hill battle.

Ummm, have you read any of the posts in the MKDA section? Or even some of the ones in this Forum? There were a ton of us ahem "fanboys" That her dissapointed with a great many aspects of that game. Just accept what midway gives us? Man that game was picked apart by so many people that had things they didn't like. By the way You know nothing about any us personally so don't sit there and presume to know what we're thinking or how we feel. Have a nice day.

I have to disagree with you . Again the main reason MK6 isn't comig to gamecube is because Midway doesn't want to risk losing money since it is a bit of a tough times of for them. If games like BMX XXX ( with BMX XXX nudity on gamecube)and MK: DA can make it to gamecube. NIntendo doesn't care like it once did in the early 90s about what type of going onto there console, now its a matter of 3rd party support for gamecube which isn't good. The reason MK:D isn't coming to the cube is because GCN sold the least number of MK:DA games out of the top three systems.All this means is I'm gonna buy a new system.I'm not sure if I should buy PS2 or Xbox.Any suggestions?

Honestly dude, I can understand where your coming from because I had to put up with crap like that on the McFarlane Message board. You are a consumer , you make your point for improvement, and you get flamed for it. HOWEVER .....
My advice is to simply put out your message, and if you get flamed for it , just DROP IT.
Reason being is just like if you were in a room full of people and you were trying to get them to agree with you , and they get hostile, you just leave, you dont stay and fight cause its not gonna sway them. Its a shame, but your better off making your points where it matters, and thats to Midway. Email them, make your point there, it will get you farther than arguing with a bunch of kids.

I disagree. I while back Ed Boon said that the MK team will take advantage of all 3 system power. A few weeks back it was reported that Midway took a loss in money since its games didn't generate disired income. Due to this Midway has to cut support of gamecube since it does account of least of its sells. Overall MK: DA(200,00 units) did sell well for a 3rd party game on Gamecube, but given the losses Midway took last year they had to make some cut back. Most of these cutbacks were gamecubes part since gamecube accounted least of there sells in total.

The biggest reason that MK6 isn't coming to GC is cause the Gamecube sucks major cajones when it comes to online play.The only games they got are PSOI&II and C.A.R.D. Revolution.

I think I'm just gonna call a spade a spade tho. MK:D is gonna make a lot of money on PS2, and a lot of money on XBox. Why would they think it wouldn't make a lot of money on GC??? 2 thoughts:

1. Nintendo won't touch it, too 'messy'
2. Nintendo's fan base is not 'this type' of fan base..


just my thought, but I realllllllly doubt it's any 'financial' reasons. If MK doesn't sell on GC, then maybe people are right for calling it a 'kiddie console'?? I dunno. I just don't agree, but hey, you're right a good amount of the time and this could be another one of those times man. wink
