BOON please don't ruin this game with a HOW TO manual!!!!!
The only thing I ask of this game is that EVERYTHING is not released right when the game comes out (ie. how to do fatalities, how to obtain secret characters, how to get to secret modes...etc) MKDA came with a book on how to do the "only" fatality for each character, that's no fun. Let us mess around with the game for a couple months to try and figure some stuff out...PLEASE!!!!!!

hmm.. in the psm issue it is said the stage fatalitys are kinda hazard fatalitys.. so like you can be full health trying to pick up a stage weapond.. and your opponet gives you one good kick.. and its game over... wonder if you can set a barrir on and off..

i didnt get the book that came with it.

I will most certainly be getting the book right away. Why? Because I do want to see all the cool new fatalities!! Bring the book!! If you don't want to know, don't buy it!! We all have that choice to pick, as we should!
that's not what I was getting at. the whole point is the day the game comes out EVERYBODY is going to know how to do everything. there's going to be nothing for people to try and figure out all they have to do is look in the manual. so you'll be playing online and EVERY SINGLE PERSON is going to do a fatality when they win. what happened to the MK1 and MK2 days when we actually had to figure things out, crowding around the arcade machine because someone figured out a button combination to do a fatality. there's no race now to try and find anything out, everybody has access to it right in the book. I want to be playing online and say 'wow, i had no idea that was in the game" because the book doesnt tell EVERYTHING. all i'm saying is LEAVE SOMETHING TO FIGURE OUT, DON'T TELL US EVERYTHING THAT'S IN THE GAME.

Why bother buying the book when you can just look it up online for free.
I'll be looking stuff up because I don't want to be waiting for ever to figure stuff out on my own.

Bleed is of course right, except for the fact that sometimes you won't have access to your computer right then and there, so its better to have the book right by you.
When DA came out I bought the book with it, but I didn't lookup the fatalities right away. I tried doing some on my own, and coincidentally, discovered Scorpion's. But I got frustrated trying to figure them out so I looked. That's when I discovered it was one fatal each, and my jaw dropped.

I know what you mean. When i played MK 2 I found out about 5 fatalities myself and some stage fatalities; but i never knew about Shang tsung 3rd fatality when everyone had to 2. So it good and bad.

Want to know what happened to those days?
1) the invention of the internet
2) the death of the arcades.
Thats what happened to those days.

If you don't have a computer, just go to the library, and or at school on your lunch break, and print it out.
If you can't print it out at school, then save it, send it to your self in an e-mail, and print it out somewhere else.
you might ask a friend to print it out for you too.
There are ways to get it
I stopped buying the manuals years ago because it's like once I learn the stuff, I never use the manuals again, they just sit on a shelf wasting space. It's a waste of money IMO.
But that's just the way I see it.

I'll probably wind up getting the guide before the game even comes out because I'm too impatient to sit there trying to figure out how to do stuff, and because strategy guides make for great reading while sitting on the shitter.
