I agree. One of his power moves has to be a big bolt of lightning up Shang Tsung's ass!....lol. DC underutilizes CM. They could make a kick ass comic involving him and his rival Black Adam. It's funny how people rip on CM when he's just as powerful (if not more b/c of magic) as Superman.

Captain Marvel isn't a kid. Billy Batson is a kid that becomes CM. Captain Marvel isn't dumb like a kid either since he has the wisdom of Solomon. In that Boon Gametrailers vid, he states that if you master Superman's moves you can dominate the game. If that's the case, I assume the same would apply for Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman?

Nah I say DC does. Batman is like a palette swap of Superman. Black Adam is a palette swap of Captain Marvel. Tis all the same.

If you use magic on him then he should lose pretty much most of his capabilities e.g. eye laser, freezing breath etc.

It's pointless saying this now, but MK v KI would have been more appropriate.

Black Adam was a hero in ancient times and when he said SHAZAM! he received the powers of Shu (stamina), Heru (swiftness), Amon (strength), Zehuti (wisdom), Aton (power) and Mehen (courage). They are all Egyptian gods. He was a hero in his time then a villian later during Captain Marvel's time. Nowadays he's both. Similar costumes because they both got their powers from the wizard named Shazam.

Their powers came from the same person. They're basically the same hero, one was just corrupted by evil, sealed away for a few thousand years, replaced, then came back as a villain, then an anti-hero.

The picture of Captain Marvel that I have in my sig is what he currently looks like in the comics. I think they'll have his classic costume for the game though.

They havr a reason for being the same. They were both Shazam's chosen warriors. Teth-Adam in Ancient Egypt and Captain Marvel in modern times.

It's basically a similar relationship as the one between elder SubZ and younger SubZ.

I'm more curious about how this story will be handled than the gamyeplay itself. Boon described the collision of the worlds as a result of some event. I assume that one event will have different effects on different characters.

Like others have mentioned, yes Superman has a slight weakness to magic and perhaps "the event" exploits that weakness. The magic motif won't work for WW and CM because they are both highly resistant (if not invulnerable) to magic. This is stretching, but perhaps "the event" weakens the Greek Gods in some way. That effect should trickle down to WW, CM another character like Dr Fate (or Circe - either would be great!!).

I don't think they can have a cookie cutter explanation for each character, and I would prefer it if they had a unique *well-written* story.

I'm looking forward to Cap. Marvel, lol@ the people that think he's "Just like Superman" wrong...lol but Brinkie said/explained earlier. Other then super strength, flying ability, boyscoutness they're nothing alike...
