Reptile has changed ALOT since his previous appearences, although he was perhaps closest in MK4.
His new appearence has had different levels of acceptance throughout the mk community. Anyhow, let's get on with it.

Things to talk about:
MKDA appearence, like or not.
Storyline, endings, fatalities
Moves, costumes,
Return in MK6?
Movie/TV appearences (should he, by who and in what form?)

Other stuff to post:

STARTER QUESTION (feel free to expand and diverse): Reptile's new look is very different than before. Are you happy with it, and should he continue to de-evolve in the next game?

AND ANOTHER: How do you think Reptile plays in MKDA? I found him tricky at first and ignored him a bit, but came back and now I can't stay away from the deadly little lizard!

well I personally like reptiles human look alot better maybe in the next game they can make that his alternate costume, but hes good, but not as good when he was a human.

I like Reptile's new look. I was a bit tired of the ninja look. Also his combos and his weapon stance are very good.

thats true, but he was much faster as a ninja and he was 1 of the original ninjas thats y i like the ninja look

Reptile is a kool MK character. I like he's new look in MKDA but I despise he's special attacks. In he's game ending is kinda a clue to what he might look like In the next game, since he got lanced from the beam of energy from the Dragon King's egg. I bet he will look more like a dragon (whit wings...etc) and more powerfull. He even might get to be the subboss of the next game.

Reptiles new look is cool. His special attacks and sword attacks are excellent and his combos are strong, shame that the crab style looks so stupid but i guess it suits the way he looks on any other fighter it would look a lot dummer. His fatality has got to be one of the best in the game. If i had to rate reptile i would give him

8.5/10

I think they took reptiles look a little too far. I liked him in mk4 in his second costume. He still looked like a ninja but like a reptilian animal at the same time. Now he just looks like some sorta raptor.

Reptile has been my favorite character since MK2. I always wanted to see him in his reptillian form, and in MK4 I was a little disappointed; I expected him to be much less humanoid. I think his MKDA look is his best so far, but I think he's a little too "cute"-looking. He should look more vicious. Also, I don't think he should become the dragon king. A "dragon" doesnt really fit his personality.

I liked Reptile since MK2, In MKT I excluded him from the fact that there were so many ninja clones of Sub-Zero and Scorpion because Reptile was in the original MK also. I like how Reptile became different from Sub-Zero and Scorpion's look because it makes him more original. I think that Reptile should stop serving everyone as a servent and do his own thing. Hopefully Reptile could be a new type of boss in the next MK.

He has real good combos and the lizard ball is a good way to take someone down fast without someone being able to easily block it.

His weapon stance is probably the best one in the game.

I am so good with reptile. I like how he has much more purpose and depth in MKDA. In MK4....He was just sort of....there. And his costume was retarded! Green does not go with purple!!!!
He's my favorite guy in MKDA.

I just wish his second costume in MKDA wasnt so stupid looking. I think he looks best in MK2, but no matter how much they change him he'll still be my favorite fighter.

Yeahhh he is awesome , and the new look rocks!!! he is one of the best characters and is very powerfull , I hope that the Dragon King don ́t posses his body. Reptile rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not sure if I said this earlier, but anyhow.

Yes, I love Reptile (who is now my best), but don't you feel he needs just a couple more combos, especially in crab style? I mean all his combos pretty much involve his elbow strike in that style.
His Hung Gar ones are good, but I would've liked a couple more that knocked the opponent down.
His Kirehashi combos are quite nice. Though I just felt he needed about one more.

Your thoughts on this?

I think that Reptile's character needs to step aside from the whole "serving someone" thing. His character needs to be refreshed and his connection to the Dragon King will spark this. I'm not sure if I want him to be the Dragon King, but he should evolve. If he were to be the humanoid/ninja thing again, his mask should have that MK1 movie design.
